Trump attempted in his first term to withhold funding from Ukraine.
He had the right to pause it--which he did.
He did not have the authority to withhold it permanently.
Eventually, that money allocated by Congress went to Ukraine.

They could have paused for review, but since Congress allocated the money to Israel, Biden nor Harris, could have stopped the money.
Congress has to stop it.

Final point: The "short-term pain" would not be evenly distributed. Tariffs hit low- and moderate-income households hardest. So do cuts to Medicaid and other programs. So do recessions. And while a recession may be temporary, the impacts can be long-lasting.

I'm not 100 percent certain she knows she's lying.
Trump believes foreign countries pay the tariffs and that tariffs bring massive revenues into our country paid for by those foreign countries.
It's plausible that she believes trump and hasn't googled "what is a tariff" herself.
