Idk who you think you’re being so damn condescending to but I voted for Kamala and have fought with every fiber of my being against him for a decade and if you think the only two ways to fight authoritarianism is to vote or smear shit on the walls of the Capitol building, you need an education.

2/2 it took me forever for the website to work but I finally submitted the application. I get an email confirmation that my application has been approved… for the wrong kid (not my kid, not anyone I even know). Can’t get a hold of anyone to correct it and don’t know how it happened. Go Texas!

It’s not being a thug to loudly call out the illegal shit going on. If someone is actively robbing your house, you aren’t a thug if you scream and curse and fight back. You tell everyone in the house and every neighbor and you get him OUT. You don’t sit there and say “ Sir, I wish you wouldn’t “

This executive order essentially criminalizes childbirth for anyone who isn't a citizen or a spouse thereof. If, for example, you're here on a visa and give birth, it says your child can be taken from you and deported to a country they've never known.

Your sentence makes no sense. Are you saying it’s POC who voted for Trump? Or that they’re necessary collateral damage to get the message to maga? Because POC overwhelmingly DIDNT vote for Trump, and maga are largely past the point of being able to learn a lesson.

It’s actually more likely to hurt POC who are more likely to be poor, less likely to own a generator or huge ass truck or boat, less able to evacuate in a hurricane. How long will it take for blue state Dems to realize you can’t “teach maga a lesson” in this way w/o hurting the oppressed?

I mean, a lot of Americans were fairly pro-Hitler until Pearl Harbor. Many white supremacist governments have gotten many ideas from America. Once we entered the war, Hitler became evil. But before that, plenty of American white supremacists supported him.

I’m glad he did, but will that really stop Trump? He doesn’t care about the law, and he’s only limited by how much the people around him won’t comply (which is less likely now than his first term; everyone seems to be obeying in advance)

Trump didn’t get any more votes this time than he did when he lost to Biden. So no, America didn’t want this. Some just couldn’t bring themselves to vote at all. For various reasons, but Harris didn’t get enough, not that Trump got more.

The people it would starve in those states are not the ones making those laws, and in many cases aren’t voting for them either. GOP leadership would just thank you for doing their job for them of hurting disabled, POC, single moms, working poor…

I can’t wait to read this ❤️ and also the subtitle already has me furious (I was forced into poverty to care for my disabled child bc my state has a 15 year Medicaid waiver waitlist, and my mom was caregiver to 4 family members with dementia, with minimal supports/respite hours.)

And they’re gonna struggle to find labor to build the homes when they go deporting everyone, too. And much of our marble and other natural stone countertops come from quarries in China…

Can someone translate this insane sentence for me? Is this an anti-abortion statement? Like my brain can’t even make sense of how the needs of men or community need to be considered in women’s healthcare

It was in the discussion of the fact he kept Hitler writings on his night stand and every ww2 historian said he is a fascist. How does this surprise anyone?

Every time she opens her mouth she proves she’s as horrible as he is. She’s just smart enough to stay quiet most the time.
