I'm a nobody & prefer it that way. I know things because I'm alive. I think for myself. I know everything there is to know about 1968 Pontiac Firebirds...except for all that stuff I don't know. Restoring old American iron is fun.

Nope. His every action makes perfect sense for what a Russian agent in his position would do to destroy our country from within. The big lies, the distractions, the firings, the betrayals, the threats. He is a traitor, a foreign agent, and a clear and present danger to the United States.

You forgot the “It was Biden’s fault” bullet point.

I guess he never heard of Manifest Destiny then.

Are we all going to have to post portraits of Donald Trump in our living spaces now and on the sides of buildings in every town and city? I’m also waiting for the statues.

Article 5? Nah, just kidding.

Hmmm, not sure. It used to be that everyone was required to attend school through the 12th grade. I guess nothing much stops people from dropping out early though. Some schools are required by law to report those cases to social services, but who knows what happens in reality.

LOL. Good point.

To hell with Trump. The EU needs to marginalize Trump until his kingdom collapses and he is dethroned and deposed, and then perhaps the USA will collectively remember whose side it’s supposed to be on, or at least whose side it’s clearly NOT supposed to be on.

Russians have the second best army in Russia as long as Ukrainians occupy a small part of Kursk. The only reason Russia wasn’t defeated in the first year was due to support delays caused by self-inflicted western fear. Russia only makes gains at all because of superior numbers, not because of skill.

Of course it blames Biden. Biden is responsible for the fall of the Roman Empire too. Biden is to blame for the destruction of Pompeii. Biden is the real reason WWI started. Biden even wiped out the dinosaurs. I hate Biden so much.

NATO cannot count on the USA if Trump or any semblance of MAGA is in control. Europe and NATO (sans America) must build their deterrent forces and become the new leader of the free world. Stand up and show us how it’s done so our people can see and remember. Fight for Ukraine against Putin & Trump.

Don’t worry, our military is more than a match for Greenland. /s just in case.

It’s sad that Trump’s approval rating is even that high. I worry about my fellow Americans, even the idiot magats. I kind of feel that ‘forgive them for they know not what they do’ vibe. I guess we will see in the next few years if any of them open their eyes.

I think if a fair election was held in Ukraine today that either Zelensky or Zaluzhnyi would win (assuming they both were on the ticket). Anyone think either of those guys would be Putin’s puppet like Trump is?
comment in response to post
Depends on what actions are actually carried out versus what words come out of the mouth of a leader so obviously compromised by a foreign adversary. But we seem to be going down that slippery road right quick.

He will be ordering the US military to bomb Ukraine next. Trump: “Hey daddy Putin, where would you like me to drop the bombs?”. Europe, please step up and fast! Get your acts together and stand united against evil! The USA is no longer the “leader of the free world”. We are lost.

That’s just great. I had more important things to do. Now I’m going to spend all of my time doing things like this.

Any deal with Russia without Ukraine is mala fides and malum in se, is a condicio sine qua non, and should be declared null and void ex facie not just by Ukraine but by all European countries, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and any freedom loving country in one loud unified voice.

They should have added Elon to that sign ‘cause you can’t spell felon without Elon.

That’s obvious even to the layman.

As an American it pains me to say this, and it’s embarrassing beyond belief, but it probably wouldn’t hurt for NATO to start doing some serious military coordination exercises WITHOUT U.S. participation.
comment in response to post
NATO is still highly effective and far superior to Russia even without the USA. Most likely Russia will use those troops to make a run on Kyiv again, or in some other front. If they attack Ukraine through Belarus then Belarus should be considered an enemy combatant & not off limits for retaliation.

How? With what army?

40 to 100 million people died in WWII depending on which historian you choose to believe. Some lump in Stalin’s pre & post-war purges which is probably 20 million all by itself.

Yes!

It might not be popular with young people but it’s necessary. It could come with benefits if done correctly by the government. Additional education, travel, tax breaks, who knows.

Assuming this war ends and Ukraine survives, as a policy, Ukraine should impose mandatory 2 year service for every one of their citizens so everyone has some level of military knowledge. Russia can never be trusted and will break any agreement. It’s just a matter of time.

He isn’t running for reelection again so he isn’t worried about his job. All of the others probably are so they kiss the ring, foot, or ass no matter how nasty it is to them. To me they are worse than Trump.

Perhaps it’s time to consider dropping some debris on Russia’s nuclear power plants. Do it when the wind is blowing east.

Europe, please step up and help Ukraine however you can for the next four years, possibly longer, until America regains a little sanity and remembers who it is.

I’ve been wondering about that Adam. Hitler had die hard supporters to the very end, and then you had the “we didn’t know” crowd. People don’t like to admit they were wrong.

Russians would lose less lives if they turned on Putin and his regime. As much as Yevgeny Prigozhin was a piece of shit, he had the right idea for a minute, just not enough support.

Just don’t look up. Everything will be fine.

I live in GA. There’s more blue here than people realize…and then we have the totally brainless Moscow Traitor Gangrene up in the northwest corner bringing shame to GA and the USA. I can only be glad that she doesn’t represent my district.

Is it still just a “special military operation”?

Technically, Gulf of America sort of makes sense, if it would have been agreed to by the US and Mexico a long time ago, both countries being part of North America and all that jazz. Gulf of North America perhaps. As is, it’s a vane ridiculous distraction. I will continue to call it Gulf of Mexico.

Bruce Lee next. Clearly he was killed by the “Chinese Death Touch”. Oh, and do Elvis, do Elvis. We all know he was abducted by aliens. Also Jimmy Hoffa. My life is meaningless without knowing these things. I need more distractions to entertain me while my country dies.

Trump, Fico, Orban, Putin. The four horsemen of the apocalypse? Nah, they are all just trash.

That’s correct. Now do one for Trump. Should take 5 seconds to replace the word Russia with Trump.

Seize them all. To hell with anything Russians say at this point.

He is a disgrace to any remaining good aspects of America, but he fits right in with the MAGAt crowd.

This is a distraction, like so many other things Trump is doing, to take attention away from the really important stuff that he is doing (destroying our democracy) and not doing (lowering grocery prices). Stop reporting on the distractions. Focus on the important stuff.

If the war ends with Ukraine intact, it still needs to massively build up its armed forces and stockpiles, and continue to innovate. Perhaps there should be mandatory military service for two years for every capable adult to get necessary training, just in case. Russia CANNOT be trusted.

Thank you Finland!

The real realpolitik going on here is the west doesn’t want Russia to win but they don’t want Russia to lose too quickly or badly either. Ukrainians suffer because of it.

There were two main periods of delays. One was from Biden’s fear of Russian escalation. The other longer more noticeable (and remembered) was republican obstruction, not from fear of escalation but due to traitorous elements in their midst. Both allowed the Orcs time to build defenses in depth.
