He does in fact have a lot of skills and is very intelligent, BUT he doesn't in field of government and macroeconomics. He is manic, aspergers and obsessive.
An attitude that he is useless and stupid when he has a record of success could cause the fight to be lost to him! Be careful.

$4B/day is that is $1.46 trillion a year. So must want to cut Medicare and Social Security too. Have to look next to see if he gets IRS data. Then he could use that to make means tested payments. I suppose it would be a clandestine way of making a policy lots of conservatives might agree with.

Hi :-)
I was just wondering if you had any plans to write about Argentina on your substack? Just because President Musk is so swooning over Milei. Possibly too early into his admin to say much, and Argentina too basket casey to draw many conclusions?

The US needs a load of mining for the materials for batteries. Don't know if they can be transitioned to do that instead. I suppose the coal is in dif states to the battery materials and the processes are a bit dif.

That wasn't a defensive of him.
If you were in a boxing match and your coach and friends told you your opponent was weak, and unskilled and had no punching power and got tired after 20 seconds, how hard would you train or fight? The false information would mean you were more likely to lose.

He is an obsessive. He gets an idea in his head and then works and works until it becomes reality.
In the political world it is scary.
People attacking him in anyway enrages him. Calling him stupid annoys him. He is emotionally weak and needs validation. The right embraced him, so he switched.

The left through being pissed off at Musk smears him with this accusation he is stupid because he is doing some things that majorly suck.
He is FAR from stupid and this will lead to a bad end for the left (see the US election). Far better to attack his ideas and personal conduct. Plenty to attack.

Possible.
Also possible he is scheduling tweets. He has one of the largest computers in the world for training Large language models & is massively connected in this world having helped set up OpenAI and xAI, so he could literally not even be posting say 50% of his stuff. Text gen is cheap now.

You would have thought that the whole world stopped because of a virus, and then that virus evolving multiple times to be more dangerous and then finally less dangerous, would have had a big effect on people.
I suppose lots of people didn't even follow the names of the different variants.

Generally we write that the person died peacefully as a way to comfort the grieving. That can be true, but it is also a cliche that is necessary to help us.
Death is only a small moment in life, but yeah I saw it and it's not fun.

Slight exaggeration, but not really by much. I sat there next to her the whole time and nurses saw her every so often. There are rules about how much of a drug you can give even if the person is terminal. You sit next to them trying to judge what they can feel, looking for signs. Frustrating.

Yeah. Makes sense. I sat by my mum and watched her die.
I was concerned with her having a good death, and feeling no pain and the nurses were worried about the rules about how many drugs they could give her even though we were all just there waiting for her to die in the coming hours. So.....
