I know this wasn’t your point, but were those REALLY the main criticisms of the movies, because I always thought it was that they’re atrocities of dialogue and acting. Like I’m sure the length and politics would have landed better if they weren’t atrocities of dialogue and acting.

He at least got very well deserved nomination for Eastern Promises. Lost out to DDL for There Will Be Blood which,…yeah fair enough. Probably should’ve won in most other years for that one, though.
