I read that something like 10k fed employees retire every month. How many of that 40k are retiring before September and taking an early larger paycheck?

I would consider the details, but I have no faith that the information from the heads of that new department would actually tell the truth. Who would get those benefits? How do we know that a fewer head count and less money in a federal program is better than the output of that program? Trust? Lol
