Awhh, bless y'ah. I was fine. It was just a matter of re-learning "the gentle sideways slide" technique that I've mastered over the years.
Going back up was more cartoonish though. Back wheels whizzing round like a potters wheel, and no grip meant an average speed of one inch per hour....

You can tell you've been out of the country too long as we're expecting some of the white stuff next week.
