But it's also worth noting that the only 2 women we've seen so far who we definitely know were severed voluntarily have been 1) the Lumon CEO's daughter, 2) the wife of a senator deep in the pockets of Lumon lobbying.
So maybe it's more contentious in the show universe for women too!

As most good sci-fi, it reflects more on the now than on the future.
Lots of malaise about "work" in culture, I definitely saw some reaction to the core conceit as "lol where do i sign up?"
I also see a relation to how we willingly allowed mobile&social media break the brains of a generation.

This tweet has 5x the amount of likes than the most-liked tweet in the 3 screenshotted there.
Embarrassing, Elon.

Meanwhile my entire timeline knows this was an uproariously excellent half time show - one of the best ever.

They'll say they didn't know. They'll say they didn't think it would go that far. They'll say they were lied to. They'll say they just wanted kids protected. They'll say they only wanted gang members deported & groceries cheaper.
But this is what they voted for. This is what they wanted. Remember.

You misunderstand. In the original pic, she is being "forced" not forced. It's consensual non-consent.

Arguably using that picture for this meme makes the opposite point from what you intended.
Because she's not ACTUALLY being forced to drink her milk. Milk drinker is loving it. Living her best life.
Which is what Google is probably telling themselves too about Gemini.

Without beating around the bush: yes, all the evil shit you realized about the US is true. But all the evil shit the US said/says about Russia and China is also true.
And you won't hear about any of it on a Chinese-controlled app, FFS. Use your head.

Which part - the extra credit I give to humans here?
I get what you're saying, Mr. K.
But some "tribal" knowledge is based on core truths. May seem silly for a religion to ban pork & shellfish with 21st century food safety regulations, but more reasonable in the 3rd BCE century.

So no, you can't apply this study to "self-driving cars" without context.
Who's working on the tech? Tesla? Uber? Google? I trust each differently.
Where is it rolled out? California? Texas? I trust each's regulations differently.
The question isn't the technology, it's the implementation. 6/6

If you believe they were bluffing & negotiations were possible or if you think the gas could've been used more competently, it's a catastrophe.
Whereas if you expected even less from russian special forces (And en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beslan_... 2 years later confirmed it), then it was a success 5/

40 Terrorists take 900+ hostages. and set up bombs. Special forces try an extreme approach, manage to kill all terrorists and 15% of the hostages, but save 85%. Success or catastrophe?
The answer depends on what you believe of the will of the terrorists & the competence of the security forces. 4/

...other risk tolerance examples people might use this for (self-driving cars, safety protocols, engineering tradeoffs, etc.)
People intuitively understand this. Therefore it's REASONABLE to answer inconsistently to these different scenarios.
I am reminded of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_... 3/

The author says these options are indistinguishable. But reality is way too messy! You'd never have a scenario where exactly 600 people will die if you do nothing: Maybe some would survive, maybe more would die! This is true even in this exact scenario, but even more so for... 2/

This is very very new. It's never happened before.
The call to stop gamifying my existence was to the broad tech industry on mobile, not Google Photos specifically.

My answer would be: "A thesis".
I want there to be a point to talking about the thing, some reason to talk about it besides "info dump". Nothing wrong with infodump, but to be an "essay" there has to be some insight, some conclusion. A reason to choose THESE facts, and THIS sequence of information.

Dang it. I got the DT 990 PRO And I was wondering if I will regret not going for the swappable cable option.
I've already accidentally caught the cable in my office chair a couple times and had them fly off on the ground.
Sounds like sadness is in my future.
