Well, since Pearl Harbour was an attack between two countries that were not actually at war yet, and the 'bad guys' were the attackers there, I have to disagree.
You could argue it's a Dolittle Raid moment, though.

I'm pretty sure he hates it for completely different reasons than I hate it.

It was absolutely delightful. I know that he had been ill for several years, and I can't imagine how painful this must be for his family and close friends.

He still doesn't understand that the corporation doesn't pay the tariffs, huh.

I quite genuinely do not care. Biden is no longer president, and during his tenure there were no significant impacts from his memory issues. The current president is corrupt and can't speak in complete sentences. That is what should be getting reported on.

Indeed. Well spotted.

I don't see looking for honest, authentic, effective, and consistent communicators as an excessive overcorrection. What do you think we SHOULD be looking for? Which of those things do you think is unreasonable?

Sure. But I am 100% sure that if I returned to Africa as 'my ancestral homeland' I would (quite validly) be considered a colonizer - and a nutjob.

I get what you're saying, but I feel like after 25 000 years, the First Nations folks have earned the right to call this place theirs. Anti-immigration = pro-ignorance -> I completely agree.

My family has been in Canada since the 1700s - my most recent immigrant relative was over 180 years ago. And I believe wholeheartedly that Canada's future lies with ongoing, respectful, and welcoming immigration from all over the world.

Just saw it again, and nope. I will likely not be using my favourite hurricane site this year. Tragic.

If we actually lived in a free market economy, the fact that there is such a supply glut should drive down the price to the point that either people are willing to buy them or it becomes ridiculous to produce them. Unfortunately we live in this world instead.

It's a weird take that two of two is not "All". Even if her opinion on gender being binary were accurate, her opinion on this sign is still just weird.

Perhaps he could come to Canada, visit his good friend Javadhi and have dinner with Pierre Poilieve and Danielle Smith.

Absolutely. Scathing politeness with an absolutely deadpan delivery is the definition of Canadian.

That is not actually true. England implemented the first air traffic control in 1920.

Well, it's not like the courts have ever actually held him accountable before. Even his convictions were meaningless.

If they provide anything at all it's illegal. So, of course there's something.

I think that it would be funny for Damian (sp?) to run against PP as an independent. Let's see if the voters in the AB riding actually like the guy who is leaving.

perhaps, if the Conservative Party wishes to take this path, the Conservative Party should pay for the process.

Thing is - this could have been an opportunity for the Conservative Party to realize that Poilieve is not someone who resonates in the end - they could have replaced him with a leader that could be effective.

They won't, because that would also display that their markups are greater than the actual tariffs in order to maintain and grow their margins. Wish they would though!

Especially since "finding a seat" means fucking over another member of his own party, who actually did the work to get elected.

This is exactly what I am thinking. I am just so shocked and hurt that so many people voted for Poilieve. I don't mind (generically) people voting conservative - the multi-party system exists for a reason - but not in THIS election. How could they?

I'm watching the % cons vote go down as more poll stations report in in NL - I think that the media is calling it too early. They called central newfoundland with only 17K votes (of 63K registered) counted. I'm hoping that the voter turnout this year will be much better than last election.
