All they do is attack the notion that electoral politics and the democrats will do nothing to help, while it really is the only thing that can. It’s either incredibly stupid or sinister.

What is your idea

Counter: we should actually have a vision for the country and we should market that vision to voters instead of being bland, invisible, irrelevant

That’s what should have happened the first time around when he attempted to end democracy

Glad you did too, brother. Happy to have you on our side

The trucks rolling around with both a maga and gadsden flag/stickers are guaranteed to send me into a fury. But it’s so many of these cult members. It was a deliberate YouTube pipeline from libertarian to fascism, I’m convinced of it.

If it’s a matter of presenting evidence and using the facts to reason about issues and solutions, I actually love different opinions. It’s how I came to my positions to begin with. But this era of republican is not interested in reasoned debate in good faith.

I’m not convinced people voting on the best clapback is the most optimal
comment in response to post
I’ve thought about this before. It would be the antidote to our misinformation problem. The only issue it we would need to create a mechanism to determine “the most effective counter-reply”

People not voting for her, were definitely a reason why she didn’t win lol

I’m cutting all those people out now… for their safety

People who don’t understand first past the post and are virtue signaling with their vote or no vote are why where here. We need to put their noses in it to teach a lesson

They were one of them

I’m certain destiny would prefer that system for debate at this point, actually. But it is ver naive to assume MAGA is there for logic and reason and a showing of facts.

They have the military, they have the surveillance state, they have social media, they have the militias. Starting violence gives them what they want. Do not give them an excuse to use these tools
comment in response to post
You need to fight fire with fire. We need to seed the ground with a million democratic sympathizers in alt media like the right has. To do this, all democrats need to be ready willing and continuously engaging on social media but podcasts and YouTube talk shows in particular. The endless campaign

To be clear I don’t think we should let the gop find the most radical leftist and pin their views on the donkey, but surely we can learn to block and tackle. Tackling requires that we actually have a clear and preferable counter vision to the gop. Our main issue is our inability to breakthrough
comment in response to post
Isn’t this exactly what we’ve done, and continue to lose? They don’t like us because we’re mealy-mouthed on many issues and we need to be to hold together such a large coalition. The progs are always scorned to appease our latest gop additions and the math doesn’t math. We need bold messaging

This time let’s simplify things. Repeatedly hammer the republicans on their attempted coup with the fake electors. Ask if that type of voter fraud to overturn the will of the people is aye okay. Don’t get bogged down on the insurrection aspect of j6. Too few know of the fake electors

I’m pro capitalism. Not its current stewardship but your socialist utopia is almost certainly naive. I don’t see Kyle engaging with people on the right debunking them day in and out. That’s what we need. People who will break through and pierce into their media bubbles

Who did destiny rape?

I totally agree with you on everything there except not knowing their true beliefs. I know it’s atleast in service of the coup president. It doesn’t take clairvoyance to see the most reasonable explanation for Andrews persistent uncharitable assessment of the dems relative to the far right
comment in response to post
So, it’s two birds one stone with this one. Cover for the king, clean his wound. All the while appear as impartial because you made a funny. Is this stuff not obvious? Afd supporter who wants to save “western cov”, is bffs with the coup president and accidentally threw two Nazi salutes? No
comment in response to post
They backed the candidate who attempted to coup the government. They are not stupid. He can make jokes about the Nazi salute so long as it doesn’t hit too close. He knows he cannot suggest the salute means anything. All that’s left is “inconvenient spastic gesture” which is funny.
comment in response to post
Why believe them when they say they think Elon didn’t mean to signal to Nazis? They deploy this formula to cover for authoritarians. That is the more reasonable, simpler explanation. Their belief is no coincidence, especially when it is otherwise so unreasonable. All of it couched in both sidesism
comment in response to post
I agree this is the winning formula, but they are more effective at it for the reason you demonstrate here. You BELIEVE THEM. Why is it more believable that someone who spoke at a Trump rally and backed him in the race is doing anything impartial?…
comment in response to post
I think it’s very naive to think they genuinely believe he didn’t mean anything by the Nazi salute. They are covering for him. It’s shocking that mark is sane washing all of this too. I agree the left needs this formula, but Andrew is smart enough to know he’s selling fascism to the ignorant
comment in response to post
He’s the only effective person on the left in the alt media space. I don’t care if you’re further left, we need to get at least as far as destiny for your political project to stand a chance. Grow up. Were fighting fascism now, not each other
comment in response to post
Who did he rape? What is the evidence of that?
comment in response to post
I don’t even know what to search. Are you saying mark is a rapist? Why not just say what you mean and stop being an obtuse coward? Would be nice if you could demonstrate what you’re asserting because driving by and calling people rapists is childish
comment in response to post
Who is a rapist?
comment in response to post
Why not New Hampshire?
comment in response to post
I know you’re being facetious, but investing in left leaning alt media voices who debunk right wing misinformation would go a long way. We need to attack their propaganda in real time
comment in response to post
Please go on destiny’s pod. If we are serious about combatting the misinformation and disinformation machine on the right, empowering people like destiny who research and attack it daily is the only way. We need to create a broader, more connected alternative media space in opposition to maga
