Last year, someone gave me a yellow tomato (I'd never tried one before), and it was delicious. She told me to save and plant the seeds this year and grow my own. I was dubious, but they are coming up! Wonders never cease.

Hello, friends. It feels like spring here in Indiana today! I hope it's nice where you are too. Here is our Quaker message from this morning, "Goals and Grace." πŸ₯° wp.me/p8W5M7-K6

Greetings, friends, from sunny (but cold) central Indiana. The daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths have started their reach toward spring! It's enough for today. #hope 😊 spacebetweenwordsweb.wordpress.com/2025/03/02/h...

Sunday is happy puppy day. πŸ₯°

Hello, friends, heat wave here in Indiana today, 43 degrees and sunny! 😊 Here is our Quaker message from this morning, "Once Upon a Time." wp.me/p8W5M7-JS

A total of 10 deer came by in two family groups this evening, and I was SO glad to see that here at the end of February (almost spring 🀞), everyone looks well-fed and healthy!

I think I made up a soup. 😊Creamy vegetable. Saute (2T butter/2T olive oil): 1/2 onion, 1 rib celery, 1/2 c carrots, and 2c chopped cabbage til tender. Add 2 c cooked chopped potatoes, 1/4 c flour, 1 tsp salt, dash pepper, 2c milk, and 2c veggie broth. Heat and stir til bubbly and thick. Yum!

From Hazrat Inayat Khan: "Very often people coming to hear me say afterwards, 'Yes, all you say is very interesting, very beautiful, and I wish too that the world was changed. But how many think like you? How can you do it? How can it be done?'.

And in other news, my youngest granddaughter says sweet potatoes are πŸ‘

Tonight was my granddaughter's last concert with the Youth Philharmonic before graduation. I had never heard Swan Lake performed live before, and I have to say, at the risk of sounding like the dork that I am, that it was THRILLING. πŸ˜„πŸ‘πŸŽΆ

Hello, friends, happy Sunday. Sharing our Quaker message from this morning, "Fearless Love." wp.me/p8W5M7-Jp

I learned today that my 5 1/2 month old granddaughter has my number. She knows that if she kicks her feet and makes a fussy noise while she's in her bouncer seat, nana will scoop her right up. Mom and dad, not so much. Dad just told her, "Oh, you're fine," and she gave him a big smile. πŸ₯°

This is the content you need this morning. To the trolls: "You. Shall. Not. Pass!" πŸ˜† youtu.be/-ImdlZtOU80?...

Let's amplify the good leaders.

Proud of and grateful for these Friends. πŸ’—πŸ™

Gloria is clearly regretting her decision to take my spot on the couch because now she has no lap pillow. πŸ˜„

My youngest son just sent me this. Wow. What a great soul. youtu.be/Em3XplqnoF4?...

Frozen pastel morning.

Omigosh do not get caught in a room full of nurses if you get nauseous hearing gross stories (they laugh; I try to close my ears). 🀣

A blessing for today and all the days following: The Good that’s here now doesn't leave. It's ours, living in our hearts and growing through our every kind, true, and peaceful action. We are the ones who decide what the world will be. Loving the good in each other is a great place to start. πŸ₯°πŸ™

Greetings from cold and snowy Indiana! (Groundhog's Day is now 13 days and a wakeup 😁) Here is the Quaker message from this morning, "Interdependence." wp.me/p8W5M7-J6
