Concerning your battery report on the website today: Why weren't Kirkland batteries included?

Clearly you have never driven / owned and EV. I have for 6 years and your observation about them couldn't be more off base.

Do you try and maximize the income tax that you pay? Or do you try and minimize it?

If you look closely at Tesla's financials you will see that they are very profitable without the credits. \I worked for a furniture manufacturer that created a lot of sawdust which they would then sell to fireplace log manufacturers. Tesla's environmental credits are a similar byproduct.

[YAWN] Maybe they should have made better life choices? Exactly how much should someone be paid to depress a lever to dispense coffee into a cup? And, in doing so, what constitutes 'exceptional service' whereby I should tip them generously?

Then why is Tesla the only profitable electric car maker today? I would urge you to learn more about Tesla before leaping to an opinion. Sandy Munro's Tesla related videos would be a good starting point. And, BTW, I am a Tesla fan, not a Musk fan.

How many years have you driven a Tesla?

You are misinformed. Tesla got a $465M loan which was paid back 9 years early in 2013 and doesn't get subsidies, unless you are talking about the federal tax credit for customers, which all car makers can qualify for. Musk has lobbied to stop the tax credit-Tesla can make EVs profitably without it.

First, I am not a Musk fan. That said, you are forgetting that he busted his butt for years, with little hope for success, before he succeeded; and has almost singlehandedly pushed the world towards electric cars. Why should he be disparaged for that?

It's not an accurate vetted study. For starters it contradicts IIHS info. Someone is trying to smear Tesla.

I'm trying but they haven't let me deactivate it, saying wrong password (even after just resetting it) or too many attempts to deactivate.
