I would guess that this part is to blame?

This makes me think of Barry Windsor-Smith and that's the highest of praise.

That's really disappointing. "You should google for evidence of the statement I made" is the lowest possible form of internet discourse. It's what I expect from Elon fanboys and flat earthers.

OK but have you got some kind of receipts?

Me too! 30 Rock, not surgery. Lots of uncomfortable Trump and Weinstein jokes in there.

I just watched it, it was very thought-provoking. I liked how the volcano was a metaphor for his disquiet. Thanks for mentioning it.

There were "takeover" bank robberies with military-style weapons both before and after the film. One of those robberies inspired the film "Heat" and the film "Heat" inspired one of those robberies. You're talking as if there was only ever one. melmagazine.com/en-us/story/...

Do you search BlueSky for any mentions of dogs and cats? Just curious.

The headline says it made people "faint", implying that they had loss of consciousness, syncope. The text gives that impression too. The linked article actually just said that people *felt* faint which is not the same thing. Kind of annoyed with the Graun here.

You think that an LA bank robbery was inspired by "Heat" and not the other way around?

Wait I was always told he was killed with an ice pick. These have him killed with a pickaxe which is … phonetically similar but a very different thing.

If you want a realistic look at this idea, you should check this book out. Absolutely fascinating, if discouraging. www.acityonmars.com

He's been promising we're going to Mars about the same length of time he's been promising Teslas will drive themselves. Teslas have killed hundreds of people in that time but if he really tried to go to Mars I guess he could kill way more, much more quickly.

Just so you know, the spelling is "lightning". "Lightening" is a word, so spellcheck won't help you here, but it's not the word for electrical storm strikes.

This seems like something they should do in secret then it gets found out and it's a huge scandal. The fact that they just casually announce it is the insane thing.

And their Code Of Ethics is very strange: "1. First of all, love the Lord God with your whole heart, your whole soul, and your whole strength." sqlite.org/codeofethics...
