True. If you had told me a couple of years ago that the US would receive the same treatment, I would have been sceptical.

The British government has already warned potential visitors that the US is applying very strict entry rules and that the threat of arrest and/or detention is very high. I know other countries have done similar.

I know I'm only one human, but myself and spouse were planning a trip to the US for our 25th wedding anniversary in July. We no longer feel safe to do so. I'm sure there are many others who feel the same.

It is clock changing day here. It is almost 6pm, the sun is still shining and I am confused! The worst part is having to wake up for work tomorrow. You have my axe...

I made a chain maille bracelet. The weave is Vipera Berus, and the rings are stainless steel and bent my pliers.

They know. They just use it as an excuse to be evil, I swear!

I am getting a shower. When Mercedes allows it.

I'd take the vhs. Bloody amazing. That said, I would rather stick my hand in a toaster than engage a magat in the wild.

I had measles as a child. I was five. I remember every f*cking awful moment of it, even now, 45 years after. My brother's hearing was wrecked by it. I made sure my own kids had the vaccine as soon as it was offered. There is no excuse.

I hear your frustration. It's a payment to help people STAY INDEPENDENT! Not a hand out. A support net. Hugs

Watching the shitshow from the UK is terrifying and horrifying in equal measures.

Usually in one package, unless something is on a preorder.

Yeah, I'm pretty okay. Had to go back for new new glasses because my eyesight changed massively from when my surgeon signed me off to a couple weeks ago. Huggles

I hear you. I'm still bouncing around there to keep up with family and friends who haven't made the leap yet, but I'm trying not to read the comments under most of the posts now.

My cat left a poop nugget outside the box a couple of days ago. I trod on it, just after I had removed my shoes. So I removed my socks, cleaned up etc. Then trod in the vomit she'd left on the bedroom floor. Asshole.

Especially after he kept poor old Liz waiting in the summer heat for 45 minutes last time. Still, give us all a chance to have a moan. We should be protesting.

I wonder if it is to do with the fact that the top picture has a focal point that is off centre - it feels more weighted to the left.

Yep. Punch them. (I'd say fuck them but nobody ever should!)

We also don't like allowing convicted felons into the UK. I hope our government remembers this. Plus that time when he kept our aged queen waiting 45 minutes in summer heat (not that I'm a fan of the royals, but she was an old lady...)

Depends on what it's made from. If it's similar to towelling, it will absorb water better after it's washed. I know this because mine failed to soak up water and I slipped. And dislocated my shoulder.

You already follow me, but I've already purchased 20 new books since Jan 1st. I have a problem...

When this happens to me, I end up buying in bulk so my students have the same feeling.

Thank heavens for my amazing boss, who heard me tell a colleague why I looked so stressed and sent a cup full of milk to my classroom.

I fell out of bed, grabbed clothes, and ran. Arrived at my desk five minutes later than usual. But I forgot my milk. NO COFFEE!!!

It's terrifying that just over half the Americans who used their right to vote, voted for this. The world isn't stable enough for his return.

It is so true. I am fortunate enough to have a pair of boots that cost in excess of £100 around 25 years ago - an accumulation of saving up and birthday money. The same boots cost almost £300 today, but I don't need them as mine are still going. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to replace them now.

I really would rather not repeat it, thank you. It was pretty traumatic. Let's just aim for better in 25?

So, I always point out, 'There's the dead centre of town.' My grandad used to say it when I was a kid and it had just the right amount of disrespect to make it funny!

I also came to tell you that snozzberries are slightly dubious. There's some great explanations if you do choose to Google.

I've had a great day with my family, and three out of the four of us didn't even get dressed today. The fourth decided to go for a pre-lunch walk to try out his new walking boots.
