People start realizing, "Oh shit, this guy is a moron". Hopefully the trend continues.

Can we try to get ICE staffed with Uvalde police officers, or is it too late for that?

For every judge who got lambasted by people who weren't there, and proceeded to be completely vindicated by the actual evidence?

Durr, fuel reprocessing, I was thinking about coolant processing for tritium. Yeah, you're right.
comment in response to post
Not for climate change, since we already do lots of reprocessing from CANDUs. We may need to re-evaluate where reprocessing products are going, though, as circumstances may have affected how they're best allocated.

C'mon, bud, try to see the world through their eyes.

In case you missed it, tariffs on Canada are off after Canada promised to talk about addressing Trump's concerns.

My decks are typically higher power level in gas than the rest of the table, but I also run almost no protection, so it balances out against the other decks that run "sensible" amounts of interaction. It's fun for everyone.

Neat. Thanks.

No one the Soviets hated more than communists :/

is that inaccurate? Or is that part of the pending PHV?
comment in response to post
Wishing you all the best of luck in nailing Gaiman's ass to the wall for this, and to Pavlovich in finding some measure of mental peace. Question regarding PHV representation: I was under the impression that you needed a local attorney to "vouch" for you to be allowed to practice,/

It definitely is. Exposing database and query structure like this can be a significant security risk by providing attack surface, and wouldn't be returned to the client by any intended response.

overworked and understaffed, and the person responsible for this may well have been responsible for other airspaces at the same time, and just not have noticed the separation warning in time.
comment in response to post
This is straight up incorrect. ATC is responsible for separation of aircraft in a Bravo, including VFR. The pilot *should* be keeping watch and maintaining their own separation, but ATC is ultimately responsible. Why didn't ATC tell the helo to move? Because ATC is horribly/

The biggest problem with aquariums that my dad found was keeping maintenance things (like snails, oxygen plants, etc.) around without the goddamn fish eating every fucking one of them.

Good ol' RimjobSteve.
comment in response to post
No, the Earth is constantly trying to reach up and beat the piss out of a helicopter. That's why the crashes are so violent. They're held up by sheer force of will of the pilot and the Jesus Nut.
comment in response to post
Because you don't always get to choose where you land, and you can't outfit every aerodrome with this stuff.

Just @ Girls' Generation, why don't you.

No, that's a bar number from 2000. Hoping this link works. my.dcbar.org/directorymem...

I wonder how much they could save on premiums by putting people in a lower risk category with Wegovy?

I feel sorry for the clerk, having their name in any way associated with this.

This is SovCit nonsense, right?

Many people drink tap water that don't brush their teeth frequently. It's substantially cheaper to fluoridate the water than to not fluoridate it.
comment in response to post
Paying $4.50 for a bottle of water to be delivered to you.

Eastern Siberia is pretty damn poor, and has poor infrastructure. Better to let Russia develop it as much as it can while buying the resources themselves at rock bottom prices, then scoop up the territory when Russia collapses.
comment in response to post
Enough for a terrorism *charge*. Not a terrorism *conviction*. That's a finding of fact, and will be the job of the trial jury to determine.
comment in response to post
Eh, a grand jury's job isn't to be finders of fact. It's their job to ask the question, "Does this prosecutor's case stand a snowball's chance in hell?". The shame should go entirely to the DA for bringing the terrorism charge in the first place.

I think he's saying, "Stealth aircraft are meant to be chucked at the enemy willy-nilly until one of you runs out of planes, while planes are best used for surgical strikes." I don't think he'd even know the difference between a Mustang and a Superfortress.

Ciri is still human, despite her Elder Blood. And the Trials kill most kids that have been preparing for them for YEARS. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just surprising that that's the path they took.
comment in response to post
I'm mostly surprised Ciri managed to handle the Trials when she evidently underwent them post-childhood.

This goes hard.

What else can you expect from a man named "Patrick Soon-Schlong"?
comment in response to post
My dad usually wears something much closer to a nightgown than any other kind of nightwear. I don't think a 70+ overweight white man is what that guy is imagining.

I've played against a few Darien decks, and have never seen a Lotus or Crypt played in them. So, no, he's not dead at the tables I play at.

Oh! I misread the post as saying it was also an overstated DT/lifelink beater, thanks! Sink makes sense.

Which MDFC are referring to with that second but? I can neither remember nor find something like that.

Russia's having enough trouble in Ukraine, right on their border, and you think it's going to additionally intervene against two far superior foes over a thousand kilometres away as the crow flies?
comment in response to post
From what I've seen, most of them are entirely high on their own supply.

And the most biteable, from what I've heard.
