My understanding is that full human trials have not been conducted and there may be serious risks to patients. The elderly poor and the disabled are the first targets for eugenics, so they are the clinical trials. Perhaps I am a paranoid old man but I will not trust rfk jr. I will wear my mask.

I read The Godfather when I was 10. Also read Rosemary’s Baby around the same time. It is one of my all-time favorite movies!

As a father with PTSD and depression, anxiety, and married to a mother with OCD, I started early with our kids, who both live with functional mental illnesses, too. I wanted to reassure them that their symptoms weren't unusual or dangerous, but rather universally shared experiences to manage.

30 years ago my husband and I borrowed $36K for our university degrees. Now we are 68 and have been paying on the loan for 20 years. The balance is currently $95K.

Thank you very much! I recycle/repurpose as well. I know that blur. . .the vortex of creation, the silent joy in the processes of art.

Yes! Absolutely. There will be problems, certainly, but I hope that cruelty, shame, and utter ignorance aren't among them.

Shop early! It seems like he's outta here soon.
I'm a 68 year old, white male, and this world will be much better--I am certain--once the men of my generation and the one preceding it depart.

Honestly, I wish that stuff like this re-Tweet, weren't shared here. So many Bluesky folks left X because of vile tweets and it's disheartening to see they've migrated here: my opinion only.

Yes! And yes, that's how it's spelled. Famous Barr's French onion soup: nectar.

Transplanted St. Louisans here...the only foods we miss are Pratzels' bagels and curried goat from House of Jamaica. But Amighetti's special sandwich was pretty special, too.

When I was teaching writing classes for the local community college, I would routinely play a music video to begin each session. "Boys Keep Swinging" was a favorite, as was "Raspberry Beret."

I need to be in the right mood for that masterpiece, like depressed-yet-safe, if that makes sense. "Be My Wife" redefined what was possible in pop, as Prince's "When Doves Cry" would do a bit later.

A startling song and a powerful video, my favorite of both genres.

I recently realized--after decades of writing, studying writing, and teaching writing--that I no longer enjoy writing. So it's on to other art forms as I close out my life.

We live in Iowa City and are so happy to learn of your candidacy and platform. Please let Iowans know how to support you. We, like many others, are unable to give financial support but, being retired, can help with our labor. Thank you for your patriotic decision to run against that MAGA lackey.
