Republican voters are just so freaking WEIRD! They’re against free books from DOLLY PARTON for little kids. Do they also hate their moms and apple pie? So bizzare. So pointless. www.huffpost.com/entry/indian...

Trump doesn’t need a Russian birth certificate, Putin has the receipts, bought and paid for. Americans can’t access the Jeffrey Epstein files because Putin has them along with his own decades long addendums. Oh wait breaking news?

Missing the big factor: inflation ( or loss of value for fiat currency). So that 1957 TV would cost you around $2500.00 in 2025. No so cheap.

Agreed dump topic no matter how the question is formatted. How about asking “What do Canadians think about the USA government being taken over by an authoritarian criminal that is bent on destroying the rule of law?”

Story plot line sounds unbelievable unless it has a science fiction element where a virus infection turns a large part of the population into idiots.

Massive fail for US Intelligence if claim is proven. Does anyone think Trump wouldn’t get trapped by the old “Honey Pot” scheme favoured by Russian KGB?

Wow, nasty conditions when boot spikes aren’t enough! Lace up the skates I guess. Hope the weather takes care of the ice soon or some sand gets spread.

Unless it is just a short term event, beware the ides of March? Definitely looking toasty for the lower 48.

No investigation or main stream media covering allegations of voting fraud?

Musk projecting again. I guess hacking the US election was just a tech bro prank not a crime.

Looks like a good place for some quick attach shoe grips if having studded bike tires doesn’t make sense for your part of the country. Better to have a short hike a bike then a crash. Glad to hear no damage.

Trump has made statements that basically confirm the 2024 election was hacked and he knew it early in the process but, like everything Trump does; no apparent investigation by US security agencies.

Naive to think Putin doesn’t hold a massive file of information providing leverage in this relationship.

…the consumer has few options in this car culture society that has 100 years of infrastructure built to reinforce one choice on everyone.

The whole industry has a financially motivated bias reinforced by US regulations to build bigger, more expensive, more complex passenger vehicles. The only good thing about this is it’s eventual pivot when the market collapses. Unfortunately…

Problem is you need safe roads and car culture keeps making the environment for alternatives more dangerous.

Emily Anderson certainly proving she is stupid as well as taking no responsibility for investigating if there was any substance behind RFK Jr’s catchy tagline. wsj takes second place in the stupid contest for this pointless article.

You hear about IG influencers losing their lives trying to get “that shot”, so worth the risk? Always a personal choice. Glad Denise is skilled. She looks amazing.

I’m an ex- pulp mill worker. Looks like she was planking over a batch digester nozzle. If a worker even opened the cover for that vessel without being tied off (fall protection in place) it was a safety violation, subject to termination. Work place safety regs develop from loss.

Criminal gang taking over the US. Hey world wake up and pull your money out before it disappears. Elon apparently working to access nuclear weapons systems now, so nothing to see here? WTF

Beautiful but, sorry I have to say, next time in this situation be the adult and just say no. The young and fearless never think the worse case scenario can happen but, it can. One slip and who are you going to call?

Zero education? So no ability to read or write, no understanding of math and no critical thinking skills but, you will be able to correctly formulate questions to get an answer you unable to understand. Sound like a tech billionaire’s wet dream.

One small line item in the Project 2025 plan…listen to Freya’s overview _ Trump’s “concept of a Plan” pretty clear now.

Great overview of the tech billionaires’ plan for the US and humanity. The Network State website lays out the blueprint for anyone wanting to see for themselves without buying the book. Thanks for the work you did explaining this scary world view.

So if the union drive is successful Amazon will just shut down the warehouse like happened in Quebec? Wish the workers good luck but, needs to be a nation wide campaign.

On a related topic; Trump claims the US provides security for other nations as a subsidized service when really the US spend billions on weapons & armed forces that destabilize other nations. Maybe the world will recognize this farce after DOGE implodes everything.
comment in response to

Foreign agent or just a criminal with authority provided by another criminal? Seems like the US has wasted years of spending on the FBI, CIA & NSA when there is no security for government data.

Better safe than sorry. Looks like a really nice dedicated bike route even if it crosses a rail grade.

Most of my riding experience is in Alberta so survival requires the cyclist to not only obey safety signs but, also to anticipate when the truck traffic probably won’t. Most mainline rail crossing here require careful approach to pick a line that won’t wreck a wheel. I get your point though;

That makes a bit more sense for such extensive infrastructure. You believe it’s necessary? High volume bike traffic or was there an accident that created this as a reaction? Do the trains do a whistle blast for this crossing too?
comment in response to

I think Daniel Smith has been gas lighting Trump about how Canadians view him; of course she only listens to (and makes policy for) the extreme fringe in Alberta and they want to join the US so understandable that the 🍊💩 is delusional.

That doesn’t look cargo bike friendly. Designed by someone who thinks bike rides are enclosed in hermetic glass and steel bubbles? What is it like to ride through?
comment in response to

Good start; and also the benefits appear to be primarily to reduce wages and meaningful employment while accelerating environmental degradation and concentrating wealth in fewer hands. Not to mention the negative aspects and potential catastrophic outcomes. Big tech overreach.

Wait for the White House press release using Trump math: take the real number then multiply it by X (insert random large integer) to make it support your “truth”. Nice that ICE agents are getting a break from the desert heat and experiencing real ice.

Now no one in the backstage dressing rooms are safe😢 There must be a writers group doing Trump’s posts or is it Elon’s AI now? Trump signing EOs looked like gramma in the senior’s home directed by his care aid “ That’s a big one”, no way he concentrates long enough to make these long posts.
