Note that the labels in the two screenshots are different - I have the line-out connection running through a 4x1:2 demultiplexer (74CBTLV3257) to provide a toggle switch between line-out or onboard speakers, essentially acting as a pseudo mute switch.

The line-outs also pair very nicely with the MAX98306 class-D speaker amp, making the connection to on-board speakers extremely easy. The SHDN pin is tied to the GPIO pin on the DAC which disables the amp with a LOW signal when headphones are connected to the DAC.

If the deck is sufficient for most of the stuff you play, you could play on it with an USB-C to HDMI dongle, going to a HDMI capture card splitter - then steam the capture on your PC and let the PC handle the model

And if it’s some oily ick, a very small amount of dawn dish soap + toothbrush really helps break it down

Toothbrush (or microfiber cloth) and some IPA tends to work pretty well and not be overly-abrasive to plastic! Depending on the type of ick, warming it up a little bit first with a hairdryer might also help soften it and help it release from the plastic easier
