I don't mean to imply that nuclear isn't "clean"—just that we hadn't built out 2,000 megawatts of solar, wind, etc in the time that they were fighting about this, so the downstate energy mix ended up getting dirtier in the end, which was stupid.

I basically agree, and don't think that Riverkeeper should have pushed to shut it down in the middle of an energy transition. Cuomo put us in a bad position by building out very little renewable energy capacity while he was governor, there was no clean alternative to shift to.

Your point is well taken but I just don't see the arguments being made by the authors as being particularly novel, either

That's great, but I think if that was a serious, core tenant of the Abundance agenda, the crtitiques wouldn't be present and Klein wouldn't have had to write this addendum

Yes, people advocating for environmental deregulation are ghouls. And I'm not an academic, so that shouldn't present a problem for anyone who is

Of course, the problem isn't limited to figuring out how to archive and stand up resource-intensive content, but also having a place to publish new material. Plus, with all of the funding cuts, there is now much less of that material in the pipeline

Yes, it’s possible. Before the debate and AOC endorsement, Mandani was only down 2 points. www.filesforprogress.org/datasets/202...

If you order a cinnamon raisin bagel, you should be given a sesame bagel with a donut on the side. It's only right
