I was making Kana Quest at the time (dominoes style puzzle game that uses the Japanese alphabet as puzzle pieces to teach you how to read). This guy asked me if you could just have the English visible all the time… as if that wouldn’t invalidate the entire point of the game.

In my case it’s only cards mana value 0-3. Has lots of really fun synergistic strategies that you don’t see in other environments. I need to organise a play session (as well as buy all the cards that got released in 2024)

I was making my own game (Kana Quest now available on steam and switch 😉) and I decided that pixel art would be an appropriate thing creatively for the project. Then I finished that game and my pixel art was halfway decent so I kept doing it.
