The article is long but people should actually read it, this is beyond the usual parents didn’t teach her at home conversation, the entire system participated in her failure and abused her too. She was denied services, punished for acting out when she felt neglected and frustrated. It’s a lot.

I worked with those kids for 2 years as a snot nose who didn’t know shit but what I was told. When I saw there was a huge problem I started asking questions. Admin tried to shut me up so I quit. It’s sad because seeing the kids excited to learn things they never knew made me more compassionate
