My bad, it’s Barbie. I could have sworn there was a hello kitty razr but I can’t find it.

There’s a baby pink yellow kitty razer-esque phone out there and I want it so bad. It not being a smartphone is actually a plus.

They’re both pronounced the same way. I don’t think the double L is necessary but some people might say Eli-Ana without it. It’s up to you :)

I think it’s normal bc I remember doing this, but I’ve always been ADHD and neurotic. 🤷🏻♀️

This is a country of immigrants on stolen land, built on the backs of slave labor. I don’t believe in borders but especially not here.

Same with True Blood. I always knew the show used vampirism as a swap for being a minority, but other than that I thought we were being dead ass. Louisiana is just kind of like that.

But also only the staff are required to mask and all the visitors are ignoring our 2 visitor at a time max. I’m protecting them but they’re not returning that same respect. Irritating.

A little heavy for a picture book but it’s a very gay fantasy story about hatred. Love to see it.

A factual, but pretty vague book about how people are made. I honestly love this one. It’s body positive and appropriate for small kids, as long as you don’t hate words like “sperm” and “vagina”. There’s also little nods to the message that every family is different.

Very cool book about dragons and Asian folklore. (My family wouldn’t care as much about this one but they would be confused about why we have it)

The Whatifs is about anxiety and the power of positive mindset. It gives kids physical depictions of what anxiety looks like so they can better talk about it.

Except When They Don’t is another book that challenges gender norms but sticks more to the gender binary.

My Shadow is Purple teaches kids that there’s more than two genders and celebrates diversity, challenges gender norms.

Thank you. I really wish I could know that things will be alright eventually. I worry for all of our kids coming into this mess.

Do I even bother signing my kid up for kindergarten? Will kindergarten even exist by August?

All my finances are through a credit union and I’m not leaving New England so I should be safe? I hope?
If I do leave it will be as a refugee either to Canada or abroad. I can’t believe this is a real situation I’m even contemplating.

She’s done a lot of talking while visiting us and I’m so stressed out. She goes home today.

Yesterday my SIL asked which side of the US fought to keep slaves. Then said the dept. of ed should shut down bc they obviously didn’t teach her anything. We went to the SAME fucking high school. Sometimes you have to take some responsibility for your own education.
