So to actually answer the question, yes I would continue to play the game if my favorite NPC(s) died. I LOVE this games characters, but love my own even more 😌

Not to say there aren't NPCs I adore — there absolutely are! But for me there's a separation between enjoying XIV as myself and enjoying it through Nova, the latter being where most of my joy comes from anyway. I just prefer playing with my own barbies rather than the ones given to me 😊
