No no, it just so happens they become our territory in the process. It definitely doesn't come from a desire for territory first and then an attempt to package it for the gullible after.

They might have the easiest and strongest way to resist the regime, and they keep pretending like there's still some game to be played.

Small town, they're quite literally across the street from the police department. Obviously not a fix for everything.

Luckily my local library has pretty solid community and local gov support. I'll be looking into other libraries in nearby counties/cities that aren't doing as well.

Librarians much like everyone else are part of saving us. There is honor and heroism in protecting the access to knowledge.
Besides that libraries often provide so much more than just books. Safe places to sit, access to communication, access to community.
