Nawal's scholarship and savvy are making me think differently and better about how NYS schools might design and bring their Portraits of Graduates to life in our schools. I've learned much through my partnership with pilot schools this year. More to come. Let's follow Nawal's lead, friends.

Grateful to work at beautiful places doing impactful things, one of the first being the Star-Ledger newspaper, where I was a journalist and met my husband.
