*eyeing a queer couple* So…which one of you is “the body of Christ which is given for you preserve your body and soul unto everlasting life” and which one of you is “Take and eat this in remembrance that Christ died for you, and feed on him in your hearts by faith, with thanksgiving”?

Tons of reasons to be against private health insurance and to prefer multi- or single-payer solutions btw. This just isn't as compelling a chart as someone would think for justifying shooting someone in the back of the head.

If the life expectancy was in the sixties or so, a case could be made that there's some conditions which are simply too expensive for people to treat, but this just looks like a population's astronomically poor health choices catching up with them. The health expenditure matches that unhealthiness.

I've always leaned more towards Wesley than Calvin, even if I believe Calvin's theology doesn't hinder growth in holiness.

When I have the time and the energy for it, I adore the 1662 IE and the long Cranmerian lections. The 1979 BCP is what I usually use, though, because with it I can still pray the office at a fair pace and still have time to spare during my break at work.
