Yes but they also called Doug ford a few years ago a mini trump and that was nonsense. I donāt like his policies but he isnāt trump as he believes in free elections and Pierre seemed fairly gracious in defeat, Iām not saying I like them, but I just donāt accept that everyone on the right is facist!

So any right wing political parties are now fascists!!!! One I donāt think itās accurate, and two itās a very divisive way to carry out political debate to say that any one right of centre is fascist! If we overuse the term it becomes meaningless! Germany it rings true as the AfD are fascist!

We do need to be careful that we donāt just label right wing parties facist. In Australia the mainright wing party is literally called liberals and Iām not sure they are that extreme. If we start calling everyone who is centre right facist it becomes a very divisive discussion.

While I donāt disagree that Jeremy faced a lot of trolls who seemed irrationally mad at his videos, I also found the videos to be self righteous and sanctimonious. There were quite a few examples where it seemed like he went out of his way to point out issues in a very accusatory manner!

Do you think Trump wanted a liberal government in Canada? Does it suit him better to fight with? He didnāt seem to help Pierre Poilievre out with his messaging about the 51st state on election day!

I agree that Canada isnāt doing badly in education, but a much better source would be the OECD ranking for education where Canada is 10th in world, this source being reposted is specifically about tertiary education and is a little misleading, I will be voting liberals but improvements can be made

Thatās great but very specific! Letās look at the overall league table and itās not such a rosy picture. Primary and secondary education we rank lower than other western countries, so next time we are saying weāre the best educated country stick the word tertiary in there, then itās accurate

Sorry in what ranking system are we number one, by all means I am about to vote the liberals, but no point in exaggerating Canadaās success!

I have always thought we should make scientific journals and papers free to more than the academic institutions. Would this have a net positive or negative effect on scientific influence?

Do you think this is the opportune time to say in a moment of crisis and world trade war, we should join the customs union?

As an immigrant to Canada I can tell you from personal experience that this is the case! Anyone who thinks Canada is an easy touch to get into doesnāt know the process, and Im from the UK. It is easier than maybe to get into the UK but Canada is a growth country and literally needs immigrants

I think that Medics are never going to come out and talk about the issue of how come we have so many people unable to work with mental health diagnoses. So sadly itās left to politicians to try to clumsily walk into these things and itās very hard to set the right tone. Think itās more nuanced!

Genuine shortage of Health Physicists in Canada right now, wonder if they make up any of the safety experts.
