i’m going to try making a proper list of what components are easy to implement, and which are difficult to implement. once i get through all of the easy stuff, i can ask more specific questions about the hard stuff. thank you for the advice!

you know? that honestly is a fairly good explanation of why i’m runninrg into a lack of information… if i could just use csg boxes, i would… but there are nuances that the game i’m trying to replicate (roblox obbies) that just aren’t available… like friction, climbability, and scaling parts…

i am a game designer, trapped in a game developer's body. i can mash together some code to make stuff work when i have context on what i'm doing, and that's it. i wasn't built to run "game developer's greatest secrets, finally revealed"... and yet that is the role i've been assigned...

yeah! thanks for the cleanup of some of the messier bits… the difficulty comment was mainly because i was expecting some brutal puzzle trial from the way i heard it discussed on the internet… turns out, another game prepared me pretty well for this one’s shenanigans… so it was just a fun vibe…
