I have my fair share of criticism for the Democratic Party leaders, but I think many times people are complaining about them it's because the *media* sucks. It's the *media's* job to inform the public that Republicans are about plunge the middle class into poverty. Don't give them a free pass.

Checking in on the Tour Divide and Robin Gemperle has ~140 mile lead over the record pace, at about 1040 miles in to the race and almost to WY. Nathalie Baillon has a 30 mile lead over the Women's record. Can they sustain?

It's amazing to me how little journalists/reporters think of the right to a free press. They decide what is the news, and yet refuse to make it news when their colleagues are brazenly targeted and assaulted by police for exercising that right.

Remarkable. MSNC: "I want to reiterate this has been 100% peaceful." Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd. Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.

Sorta funny that Canadian protests are using "No Tyrants" instead. They can do what they want, but I don't get why they would keep the association with the monarchy. Glad they are showing solidarity with us, though!

I just had the most brazen threat ever from a driver. We were out on a long ride, stopped on a low traffic rural road, crossing a very busy 4 lane highway. A car came up behind us after stopping. He revved his engine. I looked. He revved again. Then passed us in the other lane to squeeze ahead.

Dot watching the Tour Divide and the first rider is at the US/Canadian border. He arrived a few minutes after 3:00 AM local. Will he get through? Hard to say how much hassle the racers will get. I'm sure a few will be turned away. Only 5 or 6 went past the Butts Recreation site 60 miles back. #bikes

I totally forgot the Tour Divide started today! The current leaders are a bit over 180 miles in at still going at 9:00 PM local. They are still ~80 miles from the border and probably hoping to cross tonight. Robin Gemperle and Svein Tuft have a 10 mile lead on a group of 5 behind them. Bikes!

On 6/12, DHS Sec’y Kristi Noem said “We are staying here to liberate [LA] from the socialists and the burdensome leadership this governor and mayor have placed on this country and this city.” This use of military force to displace a democratically elected is the very definition of a coup.
