Trump, Musk and Republicans in Congress are gutting services, raising prices, and racing towards slashing Medicaid, Social Security, and other life-saving programs. It’s time to fight back. app.sosha.ai/s/biBpGcjx

Make no mistake: Trump's executive order ending collective bargaining rights is an attack on ALL working people. Union busting is so disgusting.

Vincent Alvarez, President of the New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO: "The President’s Executive Order is nothing more than blatant union-busting and retaliation against dedicated federal workers for exercising their rights," 1/ nycclc.org/press-releas...

Stripping collective bargaining and union rights from workers across the federal government is the very definition of union busting — and a blatant attempt to silence us. We will fight this outrageous attack on our members with every fiber of our collective being.

🤦The agency saves half a billion dollars a year by preventing, minimizing and resolving work stoppages and labor disputes in the private sector and across the federal workforce. federalnewsnetwork.com/workforce/20...

Shuttering the FMCS means longer and drawn-out contract negotiations; delays in implementing new union contracts that raise wages and improve benefits; and disruption to the economy from strikes and lockouts. We’ll see the administration in court. aflcio.org/press/releas...

Happy #OpeningDay! NYC loves baseball, and we love our #UnionStrong players as well as the folks who keep the stadiums running. Play Ball!

Americans are rightfully furious about the Trump administration making it harder to access their earned Social Security benefits. They are making their voices heard at townhalls and rallies across the country, and calling their members of Congress. It's starting to work. 🧵

Today we gathered once again to pay tribute to the 146 lives lost in the fire at the Triangle Shirtwaist factory in 1911. More than a century later, it’s crucial to stand together to protect the hard-fought gains of the labor movement, and expand protections to all workers.

On the anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, America’s unions mourn the 146 lives lost on that tragic day, many of whom were immigrant women. More than a century later, the labor movement must continue to stand in solidarity and protect workers’ safety on the job.

In 1911, the fire department’s ladders only reached to the 6th floor of the building, while the fire engulfed the 8th, 9th, and 10th floors. #RememberTheTriangle

Each year on March 25 we commemorate the anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. This tragic event took the lives of 146 mostly young, immigrant women workers in 1911.

We did it! 1,000+ people joined #SeeUsNike to demand Nike finally look garment workers in the eye. Keep the momentum alive. Keep sharing the garment workers' stories until they win the recognition and pay they deserve.

The working class is fed up with a system where greedy CEOs make 238x what the average worker does. We don’t have to accept the current state of our country, where billionaires take more and more while workers live paycheck-to-paycheck.

Today, we celebrate the hardworking transit workers who keep our city moving! From bus & train operators to maintenance crews & station staff—your dedication keeps us connected every day. Thank you for your service!
