The Rangers need a .660 points percentage the rest of the way just to get to 93 points (the current playoff cutoff). Only one team in the Eastern Conference has played at a .660 points percentage so far this season. That is a steep mountain, brother.

Difference between this year and last year is, last year, Ranger fans would be talking about how all of CAR's chances were soft and to the outside. Now it seems like most understand that NYR aren't playing good hockey.
