Kiwi bloke. Naturist but barely get to actually participate because of family situation. So maybe I’m a frustrated naturist. I tend to have things to say about shitty governments too. They seem to be abundant right now.

Come across anybody else along the way? And if so, how did they react?

If you tap on the photo a caption tells you it’s David Lynch. (I didn’t recognise him either)

Is that PekaPeka? Weird vibe at that beach when I’ve been there. Never really grown to like it.

This diagram really bugs me because it’s talking about how everyone is welcomed in naturism but completely ignores the family aspect. Where’s Mom Dad and the kids (of all ages)? These days, kids are whitewashed out of anything to do with naturism online. To the detriment of the movement.

And special occasion that you can go nude or is it always clothing optional?

Where was that?

There’s no chance of this happening. Why even bother entertaining it?

Why not try it once and then you’ll get a good read of how she handles it. Then decide what to do from there.

I think this has become a real problem in promoting naturism. People aren’t seeing the wholesome family images they used to see. Now, without them, there is so much room for assumptions about it being sick and twisted to have kids around a nudist environment. Because you can’t show the reality.

They don’t know how to feel shame. I’m not even sure that they have feelings.

If it’s anything like New Zealand the legality is somewhat “fluid”. Nudity not illegal. But indecent exposure is. And finding that boundary line is easier said than done. So if you get a cop who decides to arrest you, and you end up in court, well that’s a lot of hassle, regardless of the outcome.

Impossible. The numbers are too big

It’s nice to be able to start over and create something entirely new and different. Something that suits where you’re at right now.

Used by people who claim to be naturists but really want an excuse to post erections and sex acts

But I don’t feel comfortable going naked at home for fear of getting “caught”. LOL what the hell is up with that??

I have on occasion, gone from the nude beach, along the textile beach, up to the car park, along the road, into my car, driven home, gotten out of the car in my driveway, and walked into the (empty) house … all without a stitch of clothing on. That was interesting. ;). …

The beach I go to has three approaches, one is across a “textile” beach, one is a walking track, and the other is a barely used path around the side. I’ve walked all three. I’ve even walked down the textile beach, along the road, and to my car. Feels really awkward, but it’s not illegal. So why not?

Yep same here. So frustrating. It’s 5am and I’m up before everyone else in the family so I can enjoy some naked me time. Kind of sick of being worried I might get “caught” by one of the family though. This should be OK - but I can’t even be how I want to be in my own home. Frustrating.
