Yeah it could have been great too but this start is really interesting !

Yup and i think it's visually less confusing for potential adversaries because it looks closer to actual FEC than it does with IK imo

woaaw i missed the start of this project but as usual, lovely work ! Have you decided if they are IK or FEC in game ?

How he chose his primary colors? I understand the Contrast ones depends on the look he wants (2nd pic) but for the drybrushes i dont understand why he went for blue and yellow (see 1st pic). Anyone having insights on how to chose colors for slapchop highlights ?

every squid in a different color. Squibow. Squigs and colors everywhere, everytime, all at once. Your opponent dies in squigs and if he survives he becomes blind seeing all these colors. Perfect plan, 0 liabilities

Beautiful work as always ! Do you intend to post Midnight city too ? I'm a recent follower so i've mostly seen Ghoulmere but i'm interested in your other projects as well !

I'm really eager to try on the new gitz but in a totally different style from my KB. I think for the AoP i'll focus on the presentation board because that's something i've never done before ;)
But i like the idea of mixing factions, it could give a good look !

I wanna try this challenge in my local store but seeing the hobby time i've got i think i'll only go with my actual Kruleboyz instead of a new army juste for the parade. But i wanna try something new this year so i'll see how i can do both !

this empty-headed demon is (imho) a perfect fit for grots. You have some strange/chaotic style, while having some funny/gloomy ideas that work for the grot side. Really like the idea !

The snatchaboss on sludgeraker beast. First time i followed a real tuto for some parts (the beast's skin) and i'm really happy with the result.
On a smaller scale, the Prosecutors from Skaventide were a real joy to paint !

These are the main sort of games i can think of but i dont believe there is such established catégories as we have in videogames
comment in response to

I think we usually sort them out by main gameplay loop. You could talk about drafting games (Seven Wonder eg), deck building games, ressource management games, dialogue/treason Games (such as Werewolves), cooperative games, silent cooperative games

Okay but only if you find a good joke as a title. If you cannot manage to find a pun about gladiator, then you have to make a podcast about all the good things in the movie (i'm sorry, i don't make the rules)

how all the other species must fight to survive in the realms, and can feel invaded by the expansion of cities.

The other character would an ordinary orruk (Kruleboy), from a nearby swamp, trying to survive in an hostile environnement and forced to wage war on humans in order to survive.
The idea would be to show how hard it is to survive as a human living in a City of Sigmar, but also to show

Still have a lot to improve in my painting skills though. My light work is really poor imo and i need to be more precise to define different part of figs, but still happy with the result !

Globally, it was fun to paint stormcasts. I tried some contrast for the yellow (Nazdreg Yellow), but all the other colors were made traditionnaly (base - shade - highlights). I'm really proud of the blue flames and the wings of the prosecutor, they are exactly as i pictured them in my head !
