this reminds me so much of the style of one of the animators on the show - my favorite one! they always drew the girls a little chunkier and chibi-er

There is a lot of detail that you won't want to miss in this story. Big thanks to the @texasobserver.org for running it, and to my research partner @kylebazgo.bsky.social.

here are some good ones to start with. i taught 4-year-olds for a long time and these were always popular. few words, or repetitive phrases. from what i remember, “The Snowman” has no words and is only pictures. if you like these let me know! i have lots of recs 💖

This is why they want to destroy us. Our superpower is explaining complicated things in a way that everyone can understand. They are going to try to destroy us whether we do it or not. I’m not going down without a fight.

one of my students wanted “a scary book” so i showed him a couple of light-scary titles to judge his reactions, then when he was dissatisfied, i hit him with the Stephen Gammell art and his eyes lit up

before i go to work every day i hold my big dumb baby boy cat in a nice hug (that he likes too) and we just hug for a few minutes while his purrs reverberate through my skull, and that’s why i don’t kill people
