This has been an issue since november 27th what is that 2 full or 2 1/2 months now! Each time with crappier customer service on the phone! In this time only ONE person has been at all helpful! And they wonder why I want to change to another carrier?

They incorporated the duties, taxes, brokerage fee’s, freight and warehousing charges INTO the cost they then charge the consumer for the goods they have imported.
Get it?
That is the most simplified explanation of importing I can muster

Accounting is done, client pays duties and taxes to their government (again CRA/CBSA)
So…if tariffs are levied
Clients (the importer) PAY the tariffs to the government IN the country where the goods are being imported to.
The importers do NOT out of the kindness of their hearts eat those duties
