Good lord, the AI used for this was on one. Mo Rantin, Kale Maker?

Well it's Oklahoma, so anything with a rainbow is probably a felony.

The gatekeeping on Ring of Honors/Hall of Fames is ridiculous. Ultimately, who cares when, first ballot, etc...

Haven't seen a diving save like that since the Bodyguard.

That's the weirdest nickname for Leon Draisaitl yet.

Such a bad take, but you do you.

Warms my heart that this has migrated to Bluesky.

Mikko's made more than MacK, thanks to Marner. The delay is due the pending cap. Drai reset the market, and If it goes up to 97.5 million as rumored, you can make 13.5 work. But they have to move Colton and Wood at the deadline and see how the dust settles in the off season. He's not being traded

Here's a visual aid

Agreed. The funny thing is, there's maybe 5 players in the league you trade Mikko for. 2 are already on the team, the others are Vasy (don't need), Draisaitl (just pay Mikko then), or McDavid (LOL sure). Anyone else is diminishing returns in my opinion.

So dumb. This happened last time. Marner held out and screwed up the wing market, and now Draisaitl did. He at least deserved it. He won't be traded, he'll be signed for 13x8, but it'll be on the last day before free agency. Click...Bait.
comment in response to post
It's comical these 2 continue to be linked. One of these players is a Stanley Cup Champion/55 goal scorer/100 point season player, and the other is Mitch Marner. Marner started all this BS with his holdout last time, so I would want no part of his crap.

luxury of his size. Maybe because when he drops, his long torso cuts off that angle (especially high glove side). Georgiev was repeatedly weak there, and in this clip, you can see that because of the angle there's no real choice but to go low. But by then, it was closed off. Brilliant, honestly.

I'm not even a Kraken hater. I'm thrilled that Seattle got a team, I love their nickname/arena/sweaters. They didn't get the jumpstart in talent like Vegas, but they're building. But the Avalanche represent a hockey prototype that is being adopted league wide, as seen by Florida most recently.
comment in response to post
The Avalanche and it's not even close. Choosing fandom due to ownership is ridiculous. Kroenke is not even involved, it's his son now and he's great at empowering team personnel. Our coach is excellent, our talent is top tier, and we play aggressive possession-based hockey.

You should note that there Avs have been on the road the past week, started their third goalie due to an injured backup, and had an extra day off between games. MacKinnon is historically awesome after being shut out

Congratulations! Would love to have you here in Colorado, but thank you for fighting for the people in Texas!

As much as I want this to happen, He'll never get the proper credit. It'll just be the same tired excuse of, "look at the team in front of him". As if we don't lead the league in man games lost or anything. Plus it would also mean a Jack Adams for Bednar, and Lord knows that'll never happen.

I would've been, had my kids not been in the backseat cracking up at me. It was like high school all over again. BTW, great having you on the pod recently. Hope you feel better soon.

My man...the world feels like robbery sometimes. Just when you start feeling happy and healthy, you trip on your garage stairs and face plant into your car. What I'm saying is that I just tripped on my garage stairs and face planted into my car. No metaphor, but maybe it is.

To Waller, everyone is expendable. Bad guys AND Heroes. Nina, to your point, is no criminal and is there strictly for being a monster. That makes her collateral damage, so Waller just wants to get rid of her. Maybe Belle Reve is over crowded.

That's fair. I appreciate the civil conversation. Wasn't trying to be rude. I'm curious though, NYR I get but what's the historical data showing DET's numbers are outside historical norms?

You have every right to your discourse. I just find it odd that you point out a clearly bad goalie situation that was corrected dramatically, but then provide a positive outlook for 2 situations based purely on speculation.
