Noticed this as well. Used quotes to search for a quote (a quote that I had written down because it does exist) and got ZERO results. None. They’ve rendered their product useless.

Are we talking affordable housing? Or just housing units? I apologize if I’ve been off base, red states are obvious building more housing, I was looking at this through the lens on NIMBYism and affordable housing. Zoning laws are notoriously lax in Red States, and land is exponentially cheaper.

Yes, because most of those “liberal” governments are center-right and cater to center-right interests. Most of the voters are center-right voters. We don’t have a viable, organized Left in America.

A well founded point, I see it all the time where I live. The red folks in blue states are absolutely louder and more active than the liberals, and since they have essentially the same NIMBY agenda, the actual left has no voice in the face of that plurality.

The bluest states tend to be where the 1% live and their money and influence crush the political will of the majority of blue voters that live in those states.

Been there. Working 12 hour night shifts and trying to sleep in my car at commuter lots, constantly harassed by the police. The percentage of Americans that are one hospital bill away from that reality is sickening.
