I didn't even know what "face card" was referencing once I'd actually gotten the slang meaning so you've just gotten me to the starting line here.

I'm really starting to think that the unique brain damage we see among billionaires stems from the fact that, when you reach the level of wealth that can make literally anything happen, everything becomes conceptual and real-world impact is meaningless. I've been wondering about the common thread.

I'm not sure I've educated myself enough to take up any labels, really, but declaring blind fealty to the name someone gave the patch of land I'm living on, regardless of who's at the wheel and what they're doing, ain't it. I'm figuring out the rest.

To be fair, some of us know we're deeply unhealthy and have received the maximum state mandated level of mental health treatment so we're just self-medicating, coping, and using fiction to feel. But you're not wrong.

If there's someone out there who loves fibromyalgia and Avoidant Personality Disorder, they're not actually matching my freak and I need them to move along.
