Rod has a hand in either of these scenarios... Does it say a lot about me that I had to consider the question for some time before I reached that conclusion?

The highest praise I can give is that it looks white... Given white is inevitably grey if you want any kind of highlights... Bravo 👏

That's bloody fantastic

I bought both sets to help fill the gaps in my triads... However, I have been sent a mis-packed set so am missing a key paint and AP won't/can't send a replacement as a result of fucking Brexit...

I did exactly this today... I couldn't decide whether or not to paint a troll or human infantry... Bravely plumped for neither

Individual bottles... My Volume 1 was mis-packed and, as I live in the UK, I can't be sent the replacement paint for the one missing. I am currently faced with either having an incomplete set or buying a whole new Volume 1 just for Banshee Brown...

D&D generic characters, anything from the Osprey Blue Books... Gaslands might be a stretch too far but worth a punt
comment in response to post
Yep... Bollocks to sovereignty, I would rather have Banshee Brown

Better than any attempt I could make... It's clear that you are aiming for a reflective finish with the use of highlights

It does appear it's a case of faux outrage for faux kudos after you made a perfectly valid point... For me, requiring to use multiple books just to play one game (codexes, supplements, campaign specific...) is a huge turn off. I understand the need for errata but that should be bloody free

Come to think of it, my mum probably binned hobby stuff that in today's money would pay for a deposit on a charming townhouse...

I had Mortarion way back in my youth... Ended up using him as an adornment on a piece of God awful hand built terrain which I believe my mum binned for crimes against the hobby

Can't wait to get mine... Want to try a Legion of the Damned marine using just the contents of the two boxes (if possible)

I have now seen that @thearmypainter.bsky.social is selling mugs... Does that make me an influencer? And will my package contain one?

Correcting my Y9 English teacher's pronunciation of Peugeot... When he reminded me he was the teacher I reminded him that his wife taught French so maybe he should ask her if I was wrong... After school detention for insubordination/making the teacher look like a twat

I loved 2nd Ed as it was my gateway... I loved the 90's colours, the strategy card that decimated Imp. Guard, the vehicle cards, vortex grenades, the Wargear book... However, my adult life couldn't fit in the four hours plus argument time it took to play now...

I would sell my worst kidney for the wood elf... I am saving my best for the original Grom the Paunch

Cheers... I have used methylated spirit before and elbow grease but my elbows no longer produce grease, just clicking noises

On the same night my wife fell face first on the oche after tripping over her sandals... The pints drunk beforehand obviously had nothing to do with the fact. As for tops... I recall winning two on double 8... The rest was all mad house after what seemed three days

My first ever 180... Took in my local pub... My wife (who was not even my fiance at the time) wondered why I was happy to get 140... I thought the first dart missed... I was even using pub darts!

It is... But he wanted to be out and, given it was still October, we didn't think about fireworks... He had a good, if too brief, life

I got rid of mine after becoming what I hated... I got into political arguments, took my own moral high ground and neglected real life. I feel so much better for it

I need to paint mine... Yours is excellent

Here’s some non 40k randomness, which is mainly what I tend to paint really. Small skirmish (mainly non GW) games are my cup of tea!

I will have a look tomorrow then... I am a firm believer in passing on stuff I don't need so if I find something you want then an equally agreeable deal is far better than making a few quid. I will DM you when I get round to finding the minis.
