Surely this new video won't make me seem like a crank. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEJp...

I am quickly learning that when someone says "this is bad" in DnD or TTrpgs in general what they really mean is "I/my group had a bad experience with this once and that's how I'm going to view this mechanic/class/race/gameplay element forever now"

I do like how unserious this game sounds like it would be. Which to my mind is exactly how a #TTRPG should engage with a genre where you can get reincarnated into a magical world as a vending machine. kck.st/3WwTkN5

Welp... Looks like I am done with World of Darkness. 26 years of playing these games... I suppose it was only a matter of time.

so uh which one of you is the cpu and which is the gpu

GREAT advice from Vulp here!

I watched this video this morning and it really has been instructive for understanding, well, a lot of behavior. youtu.be/bNOol5OTasw

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

I'm trying to figure out how to say this without sounding like a chud, but maybe I am being one when I say this: It's REALLY HARD for me to get excited about games that aren't science fiction or fantasy. I love & want to support my friends that make other stuff, but ultimately that is what I make

Krull was a phenomenally weird movie. Like super weird. The world simply wasn't ready for it. But after 40 yrs, Hollywood needs to attempt a crazy science fantasy epic again. Not a remake, but something totally new. Give Guillermo del Toro $300 million, a ticket to New Zealand, and see what happens

My freebies have been downloaded over 27k times in total! 😱 Have you grabbed one yet? ko-fi.com/alderdoodle/...

One of Keep the Faith’s reviewers was Dr. Jonathan D. Lawrence (www.canisius.edu/academics/ou...), who teaches and researches around ritual practices in religions. Reviewers are anonymous, but he agreed to de-anonymize in order to say this about the game:

me doing a whole bunch of bullshit lore to explain why sending simple static nudes is still a thing in the year 30XX for my #tittyrpgjam entry, "Intrasolar Sybercex"

Hey Bluesky. Need to make a little map? Here's a 4(ish) step way to do that with Affinity Designer. Using the node tool to make the town, the vector brush tool to draw 'roads', and the shape builder tool, to create little pockets in town you can color to highlight important areas. alt for details.

I'm not donating to your political party if all you're going to do is post. I can do that for free. I will donate if you have a project to resurrect FDR and give him a gun

I really don’t think it’s happenstance that pretty much every remaining institutional safeguard broke down within 15 years of Citizens United

I know that Kickstarter has its problems, but Backerkit has a reputation for screwing over or ignoring small creators with their marketing services. It happened to me. If your project is on BackerKit, I won’t be backing the campaign. Sorry. 😞

Artwork for the Folk Horror TTRPG The Woods At Blight's Hollow will be finished by the end of February, I can say this 100% confidently

If you're interested in movie miniatures then there's an incredible YouTube channel called 'piercefilm productions' who makes shorts for the ongoing documentary 'A Sense of Scale'. The footage, pictures, interviews and insight into the process is amazing. It's pure art. www.youtube.com/@piercefilm
