Blue Origin wants those SpaceX contracts with the government.

It’s all the Iranians have. They know their missiles aren’t going to make it through to hits hard targets, so they’re going for soft ones and aiming to sorrow terror.

That parade was just damn embarrassing. I can only hope he feels as miserable about it as he appeared to be on the video clips I’ve seen! 😂

Yup. The only reason I would want to keep Trump shambling along is that Vance is a true threat to democracy (and I’m sure he wouldn’t chicken out of doing truly monstrous things to Americans).

Tbqh it’s probably good that these antisocial weirdos are self-selecting out. Organizers did something right if both (1) people like this guy and sad Karl think these things are cringe and (2) millions of people are showing up.

America’s lucky break with Trump. The next fascist might be smarter and more ambitious than Trump.

This was Barnes & Celino (personal injury attorneys) in upstate NY. Between billboards and TV ads, those two were everywhere at the turn of century when I lived there.

I wonder if bad marching is the type of subtle protest that the army feel they can make. Trump and Hegseth want “war fighters”, so maybe the army’s excuse will be, “Do you want war fighters or marchers?” 😏

I just hope that the US learns its lessons on fascism with Trump. The next fascist in America’s future might not be such a lazy & incompetent failure.

I think there’s major duplication of services and likely intense competition/rivalry between the IRGC and the regular armed forces.

Now that’s going to be a really joyful day with parades across the country! 🥳🥳🥳

No. Outdated isn’t really strong enough. Clothing can be outdated, but it still functions. Miasma is just plain wrong. In science, words matter.

His thinking isn’t a failure of his thinking to evolve because the concept of miasma was effectively dead long before RFK Jr was born. It’s an active embrace of ignorance that we should have moved past.

Except those outdated methods were condemned to the dustbin of history long before RFK Jr was born. It’s wildly retrogressive.

I thought you were because of your word choice. Saying miasma is “no longer accepted” isn’t quite accurate. It’s been proven to be straight up wrong.

I always played a cleric in our group.

But the concept of miasma has been proven to be incorrect. People put forth ideas based on their limited understanding centuries ago and they were proven wrong by science. That said, we don’t have to respect RFK Jr embracing a debunked theory.

For people who don’t know DC, this is less than the crowd on the Constitution Avenue *sidewalk* on a normal Saturday in June, July, or August.

Well, if the Iranian regime is badly degraded, the Iranian people may yet again take to the streets. The Iranian government is probably most afraid of their own people, which is why they ruthlessly suppressed the protests after Mahsa Amini’s death.

It’s a recommendation/warning, not a ban. And a reasonable one. When we’ve done protests here in Canada, we’ve often brought the kids. But when I participated in a counter-protest during the convoy occupation of Ottawa, the kids stayed at home, just to be safe.

The shooter had “No Kings” signs in his vehicle according to pictures from the police that have been shown on KSTP. I think it’s reasonable to worry that the shooter might try violence at one of the rallies. At the very least, I wouldn’t bring kids to a protest in Minnesota today.

KSTP.com is live streaming with updates (my previous post had the wrong URL).

My bad. I did it from memory. I've got their feed running.

KTSP.com is live streaming updates. I think it was their political reporter, Tom Hauser, who broke the story.

There is blood on Stephen Miller’s hands.
I have not been a “Nuremberg Trials” kind of person but we are going to need public prosecutions and long prison sentences for the perpetrators of these crimes against America, such as Miller.

Well, the embedded social media post mentioning their DFL affiliation was by KTSP’s own reporter, so I’m not seeing a grand conspiracy here. Sloppy journalism perhaps, not a conspiracy. 🤷🏻♂️
