Yeah far too soon,and probably only about six months after I saw him…😟 After we chatted he signed a UK Pound Note for me and drew a moustache on the Queen…!!! So a great sense of humour too…I’ll never forget it

Great Record.I saw Canned Heat in the 1970s at a venue in Liverpool,and after the Gig I walked around the Stage,and caught Bob Hite just leaving it.He stopped and we chatted for about half an hour,lovely man gentle giant as they say,I’ve never forgotten how down to earth he was, and how lucky I was.

To my mind,Rory was one of the finest Rock guitarists ever,his mastery of the tone and power of the instrument leaves you breathless…The very first concert I attended was to see Taste when they played Liverpool in the very early 1970s…Great photo by the way…!!!

I ended up onstage with the DK in the late Seventies when they played Liverpool in England. The Boss of the Venue asked me to replace a Security Guard who hadn’t turned up…Interesting couple of hours and my first and last job as a Bouncer…!!! Also chatted with Jello after the Gig…Great Days 👍
