What a joyous read! Thank you for compiling all this and sharing. The idea of RE2 on GBA is wild. Really gives, 'how did they even manage to get RE2 on the N64 again?' vibes. Maybe RE2 should be the new Doom and we just try to put it on everything.

Interesting. Is it because you always have to create things people haven't seen before to continue to scare them? The desensitization is much 'easier' with horror compared to, say, romance because it's more about destabilizing the audience instead of creating quickly identifiable emotional bonds?
