They all know it's a disaster. This is the gaslighting phase, where they try to distance themselves from their own actions.

No, we have spent a century systematically pushing brilliant minds out of political leadership, all we have left are greedy self-obsessed talking heads.

Just wait 'till he runs out of things Biden did to take credit for.

Remember when the economy was booming last year under Biden and these idiots were taking credit for that? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Um, that's a lie. He doesn't have any friends.

Man, we're gonna have to replace that chair now that she's sat on it...

You've managed to get all 3 wrong, which is impressive. I'll remind you that Biden took office in 2021. Hilariously sad that you would call Bush a RINO, he was considered pretty far-right at the time, and pushback against him helped elect Clinton, who took office in 1993.

Odd (not really, but I'm playing along) that you would be concerned with who appointed the judges. If you *must* know, one of them was appointed in 1997, one in 2018, and one in 2020, I'll let you work out who made those appointments. And yes, they were unanimous.

It does not technically violate HIPAA because HHS is not included in the list of "covered entities" (a list created and managed by HHS). Because all American laws leave gaping loopholes so government can ignore them if they want, and we've just kinda trusted them not to all this time.

Millions of veterans whom this is affecting explicitly voted for this to happen. They were told repeatedly by Trump and warned repeatedly by Democrats. I seriously don't understand how to talk to these people anymore. It's the same mentality that's destroying the climate. It's the same as anti-vax.

Good, for too long these big corporate CEOs are the first to profit and the last to suffer. If they're claiming they deserve exhorbitant salaries for their "work" of making business decisions, then they also deserve to take the lion's share of the blame.

don't forget Maduro, Netanyahu, Orban, and Xi

More money goes into welfare for the rich than goes into welfare for the poor.

It would make perfect sense, but it would also pin the blame for higher prices unambiguously on their Glorious Leader.

Elon is an example that supports his claim tho: Elon doesn't do any work and doesn't pay taxes.

So... he's on this crusade without even understanding what autism is at all. Yeah, that tracks. I suppose if the only autistic person he's ever met is Elon Musk, then he would believe they can't do work or pay taxes.

Well, since they've been consistently labeling both criticism of the State of Israel *and* defending human rights as "antisemitism" there is no way this doesn't go terribly. But really, they won't enforce this against right-wing posts, only against political opponents.

it's very simple. Xi wants to engage in the same kind of aggressive territorial conquest of his neighbors. He's helping Russia to set a precedent that large countries can militarially absorb smaller ones. And he wants Russia's support in his eventual military invasion of Taiwan.

Nuh uh! Name one time.

Millions of people saw this coming and were shouting loudly that this was coming for years. Literally all we had to do was listen to what he was saying with his own mouth. But also, he has 50+ years of history of screwing people over and bankruting his companies.

Hm, I think the best-case scenario is that Trump has a cabinet meeting, invites Elon and Mike Johnson, and an Asteroid hits the room.

What this makes me think is: They *did* interfere with the Presidential election to change the results. And they did the same thing in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, but it failed. Expect election interference to ramp up from now on.

is that the same Alex Jones who was found guilty of libel several times and owes more money to his victims than he'll ever see in his lifetime? and the same Roger Stone convicted of lying to Congress, witness tampering, and obstruction of justice? wow, what a team-up!

No, but the margins in what have been traditionally deeply-red districts were much narrower than in any recent memory. The gaps were closed by more than 15 points.

He cared because he's already sued the state over its Car dealership laws, which prohibit him from selling Teslas directly, instead requiring him to go through a third party dealer. So he was trying to buy the court to win that case.

Trump *WANTS* a war. Every fascist wants a war, war gives them an excuse to mobilize the military, and excuse to remain in power indefinitely. Look at Netanyahu, desperate to keep his war going because as soon as it's over he's scheduled to be hauled into a corruption trial.

Yes, he is a liar. Just like we said he was.

States establish trade relations and deals with foreign businesses all the time. She didn't do any official business of course, so this is misappropriation and fraud.
comment in response to post
This is what Trump's sycophants are after: self enrichment. They're willing to sell us all out to pad their own pockets. That's one thing Trump was right about: corruption and fraud are rampant, but he's exclusively making it worse.

Roberts has already signalled that he will "maintain the status quo" by leaving executive orders in effect while their legality is being determined. Which is not only completely backwards, but also a unilateral decision by the chief justice. All branches are corrupt and complicit in this coup.

You'll have to get Musk's personal copy of the Social Security records, because the official records will be deleted.

By replacing the military leadership with people personally loyal to him, he can then order them to take illegal actions without pushback. Implementing martial law, arresting his political opponents, and suspending elections, as some examples.

There are only limitations when the President chooses to abide by those limitations, or Congress holds the President to the law. Obama tried to shut it down, Congress said no, and Obama followed the rules. We're currently seeing what happens when a President ignores the rules and laws.
