Schumers method of “do nothing” is somehow working and it’s insane but let’s please act on this

Senator Mark Kelly just called it out and got threatened with Treason and called to be executed by Roger Stone. He’s not going to back down but people need to keep pressure on this

The fact that our best case scenario is “man I really hope these people are just inept” is real concerning.

I mean no official health organization told them to use horse tranquilizer but we all heard about it or about injecting bleach into your blood.
So if misinformation can spread despite a governments best efforts, so can accurate information.

Battletech is having walking tanks the size of a small skyscraper with enough firepower to level a city, fighting in political conflicts so far back they forgot why they were fighting and have kingdoms and warfare and you’re just getting paid for plausible deniability for committing war crimes

It’s like yeah we used to survive from not having vaccines but also the flu could be a death sentence or put someone out of work for weeks in a system where if they didn’t work they didn’t eat led to malnutrition and death

The thing with spineless people who are surrounded by yes men, when they are told, they get flustered and don’t know what to do with themselves.

I think that’s why I’ve always really have loved Battletech and their mech designs. Their mechs always feel like their own identity from each mech, and yet still able to generally look at them and gauge what they might be good at just aesthetically

We got to be good at recognizing stories that are distractions, even if potentially harmful.
Often times if something sounds crazy but won’t matter in 72 hours, it’s just a distraction.
This while concerning and people should be aware of, shouldn’t be our focus. Simple a “huh. Well then.”

When a low income worker does nothing, it’s seen as lazy and that they should be working harder. When a rich person does nothing, it’s seen as a luxury and entitled to relax and rejuvenate.
You’re not lazy, you’re just psychologically and financially being oppressed to even try to enjoy life

Fun fact she is actually a really big animal lover - she just also is a huge bigot which is disappointing. It’s like how can you hate animal cruelty but then hate immigrants and the poor in the same breath.

After that video and deep dived into her and she’s actually just a horse girl animal lover and wants to protect nature (does a decent job against oil execs on her shore) and yet falls so hard down this MAGA extremism its like woman if you weren’t such a bigot you’d make a half decent politician

Yeah and normally Americans are more open to a concept if we can point to an example of it already existing in another system within the U.S. like they say we can’t have free education but also are okay with FASFA? Like be consistent people. That’s how you deconstruct bad logic is inconsistency

Imagine the Super Power North America would have been if we elected Kamala Harris instead. We could have setup international trains or something really cool!

Funny how he always says the left is obsessed with crowd sizes when he always feels the need to downplay our sizes and gets really insecure when gets called out for a small crowd

Trump has a super majority and has signed over 900 executive orders and 94% of them got challenged by federal judges. Only 5 bills have been signed into law because they don’t have a 60 Senate majority unlike we did under Biden (KH being tie breaker VP). The checks are balancing, for now anyway.

He also is taking credit for the 4 microchip plants being built in AZ, including TMSC. You know, a deal made under Biden’s Chips and Science Act.

And there’s already precedent for this kind of thing. Heck in some cities you get the receipt and it tells you the break down of all the taxes from the transaction, why not mention tariffs too?

Legally yes, will that be upheld though tbd.

Oh and all assets beyond like housing (gov housing options) and vehicles (gov provided) but stock options and such will also be blind trust. This should help cut insider trading and incentivize helping the lower class. This is just one of my many progressive ideas to a true democracy.

I think they are referring to artificial food coloring dyes, like dyes that go into food just to make it a different color for marketing sake, some of these have some studies that suggest they may be harmful (I’m not a SME) and should be regulated/banned.

Well sure, if there’s something easy and obviously good then they’ll do it. Can’t say Hitler was good for infrastructure because he built trains IF THOSE TRAINS WENT TO DEATH CAMPS

They wouldn’t up to the point that a lawsuit from the public would outweigh the fines/legal costs. If it saves them more money to not test in as great of an extent, then why would they? Capitalism does not value human life, only the profit can make from it.

Do I understand this? Not fully, but I love when people find the need for a tool, see existing tools don’t fit the niche they need, so they create a whole new tool just for that niche. Human ingenuity is a beautiful thing

I say take as many house reps as needed to still ensure Republicans need everyone to show up but then send out the Dems to different events like town halls and other was to stall and fight and bring awareness. We need to fight back and rally and stall their fascist work to a halt
