SWIPE AND READ —-> “They’re dead serious about power. We have to be just as serious about people.” My latest on how Democrats win again — by getting back to our purpose: Make. Life. Better. Full op-ed here: www.cityandstatepa.com/opinion/2025...

Starting 🖐 #MileHighPlayoffs

this is what we should have had….yet racism and misogyny are more important to too many individuals 😐😐😐

Federal workers SAVE the government money, that’s why firing them is COSTING the government money. This isn’t difficult.

I think people need to get rid of the idea of a “return to normal” whatever that even means. The political and economic situation of the world with climate change getting worse is not going to be less chaotic

Plenty of politicians on both sides of the aisle feel threatened by rising class consciousness.

is the Congress awake? this is not how the three branches of government are supposed to work

if only polling represented a drive to actual have things change - if only people actually realize their actual power and begin to work for the country they believed they lived in

For Republicans who claim to love the Constitution: Even the late Justice Scalia made it clear—immigrants have fundamental rights under the Constitution, including due process. “Persons,” not just citizens.

the way they are ripping apart everything is horrible 🤬🤬🤬

😫😭😫😭😫😭

Every single paper in the U.S. would be excoriating a Dem President who was golfing while the stock market melted down. We all know this. The editorial boards would be screeching, state tv ie Fox would be playing NONSTOP clips, etc. etc. It's worth remembering.

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Others have pointed this out already but the Booker's "stunt" is him literally Doing the Job - impassioned speechmaking is supposedly the main reason for Senators to exist and the only reason any of them from before the United States was established are remembered by name

Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"

Clyburn: "People better get serious about this. When he says he's not joking about throwing away the Constitution, which is what he'd have to do to have a third term, and we are not gonna rise up in opposition to that? I think it's time for us all to wake up."

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

There’s not a single thing that Trump has done that the mainstream media has covered with the intensity they covered Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal or his age. That tells you so much about their priorities. They’re happy he’s back and he’s great for business.

he’s still talking about approval numbers…that doesn’t help me today

There are books by Black women that are out/coming soon that you should buy: ERASED: A book about patriarchy us.macmillan.com/books/978125... FLIP THE TABLES: A disruptor guide www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/alenc... SAY HER NAME: Black women in sports rutgersuniversitypress.org/say-her-name...

Trump CANNOT legally reverse Biden’s pardons. The bigger question is what improper and illegal actions will be taken by Trump’s DOJ and FBI that would fly in the face of those Biden pardons.
