On the negative side, man does it attract johnny come lately blowhards who present the hackiest nerd shit from ten, twenty, thirty years ago as an earth shattering new hot take.

Hey, you didn't buy a ticket or a blu-ray. I might watch it too.

I really wish it didn't have that one twist (loses too many antifa points) but otherwise it's very enjoyable and unique. I got the El Michels Affair soundtrack on vinyl and it's great even when I forget that it's at 45rpm for some reason and play it too slow.

I'm not sure either, there is probably some dialogue we're forgetting that would tell us one way or the other.

Weren't they sitting around waiting for a mission, though?

Let's set aside "Is there an explanation for why they would do this?" and consider "Is this an exciting thing for these characters to be doing next?" For me the answer is no, huge downgrade.

It felt to me like they had just learned the lesson that they didn't need that, it was not what they were missing. It's a movie about them feeling unfulfilled because of the evil work they do, and then they agree to still do it in exchange for fame, but it plays as a happy ending.

I'm not usually this guy but it's a case of the needs of the next movie doing damage to the current one. They've achieved this underdog team but the villain tricks them into selling out in one second because that's what the next one's apparently about. (Enjoyed the movie overall though.)

The speech they want her to make happens on that episode, on the Ghost (voiced by Genevieve O'Reilly even).

An incredible A+ movie until the most movie-ruining ending in cinematic history made it dead to me.

Even before this scene she looks at Bella so adoringly you want to melt (although I don't know the game and on a show like this that kind of love is usually trouble).

I may have context for this! Last night WPBT in Palm Beach broadcast the 1979 Clint Eastwood film "Escape from Alcatraz."

I would never disrespect Sebulba like that.

It seems to be more the FORCE AWAKENS/SCREAM format where it starts with new characters who track down the old characters for help.

Yeah, I love how they put their own spin on the character designs (with influence from certain eras) instead of trying to mimic the official current designs.

The ones I'm talking about were made starting in 2019 and are fortunately still on Max (though they removed the entire library of original Looney Tunes).

Sylvester is annoyed by the loud music emanating from his belly so he tricks another cat into going inside his stomach to eat the birds, but the cat just dances with the birds. At the end Sylvester and Granny are both at the party too.

I did that last week (ACCOUNTANT 2/THE SHROUDS/LEGEND OF OCHI on consecutive days) and it felt so good!

I'm just old enough that I saw the first STAR WARS at the drive-in, so I don't know many people my age who agree with me, but I've always found the uniqueness, thrills, and idiosyncratic details of the prequels to far outweight their many flaws and frustrations. I love them and SITH is my favorite.
