If I see AI the bio it's either
1. Uses ChatGPT.
2. AI but the games sort.
3. Builds ML systems.
And I guess "Training someone in AI" could mean any of the 3. But it's probably going to be 1 isn't it?

Machine Learning, GenML, AI and ProcGen all being lumped together under the term AI is such a bugbear of mine. I've built AI systems for games but now I need to add "The non-plagiarism type that needs to run at least 30fps"

And in the game?

Harrow The Ninth is a great example of that. The person who got me onto the series didn't like it because he found the 2nd person bits quite weird to read. Like I said it almost feels more natural spoken (like playing a TTRPG) and makes the moments were it suddenly switches much more impactful

Moira Quirk's narration of the Locked Tomb Trilogy. Especially the 2nd book where the surreal 2nd person narration almost feels more natural being read to you. Play she's great at dropping F bombs which is an important part of playing Gideon

To shout out some good ones. Stephen R. Thorne's reading of @jasonkpargin.bsky.social's If This Book Exists You're in the Wrong Universe nails the jokes with some very dry delivery. One particular pun delivery lives rent free in my head

“We have this product people explicitly don’t want, that relies on tactics people explicitly find violating, and we have to be sneaky about using it because of this. What we are doing is perfectly cool.”
I’m not afraid of AI, I’m afraid of people who think like that.

My phone came with a year of google premium/plus/blue whatever they call it and now my phone and email insist on recommending I use their AI. Never seen a feature so pushy.
Which is weird right? Don't they lose money every time I fire up the old plagiarism machine to make some lies?

Oh good it wasn't just me who took a while to find that. Really opened up the builds when I did. And I agree it's fantastic. Going to take me a while. I'm going back to previous areas to discover secrets but also just to gawk at everything

Missed that one! I did pick up her hoping for some Zero Escape rooms and wondering if the twist would be the same as DR2. Which makes me think it won't be. But I also think the game is playing with my expectations somewhat. Only 20 days in but really looking forward to seeing where things go

She might be my favorite. Loved the somewhat meta bits about her trying to make this into Danganronpa (Complete with the Monokuma like mouth)

But the announcement of it not being an announcement is an announcement?

IDK man. I've not seen a single ninja in the UK and 2000's internet memes have told me that's when you really need to be afriad of them
