Everything about this is horrendous - the accident, the ambulance wait, the cover up. Awful.

Huge respect for learning English so rapidly in his non-existent spare time so that he can campaign even more effectively.

People seem to have this weird view that natural is good, but 5 mins of any nature documentary will tell you that nature doesn't give a damn if you live or die. And any archaeologist or historian will tell you about the short, painful, brutal lives people had pre-vaccines and antibiotics.

That's nuts. Ectopic pregnancies are surely fatal if untreated? And excruciatingly painful.

I think you find this in all academic fields. I've always called them factoids. Somebody says it once and then noone can be bothered to check the original source/proof and a factoid is born. We are all guilty of it but best to check original source or at least a source you trust.

I'm definitely going to try this. They quite often gave me a close pass I thought because they were interested in my dog, but I've never summoned one!

They had very good methods for cutting, grinding and polishing glass in the Roman world and those were used on stone too. This is amazing though

I found this very upsetting. That girl is so full of life and potential, and just wanted someone she could trust to look after her at her lowest. What a shocking betrayal.
