Government debt is a tool, not a burden. If you absolutely need the money to invest in fundamentals of daily functioning, productivity and confidence… create that money, invest it, and it will be repaid. Austerity 2.0 will do nothing for productivity.

Last October, the Prime Minister told LBC that "Israel does have that right [to cut food, water & power from Gaza]." Today, in the Chamber, he claimed he’s "well aware of the definition of genocide" & that's why he’s "never referred to [Gaza] as a genocide." We won’t forget.
